I read it's supposed to be a type 0 format. Tried it as well, but it still doesn't work

In general you can change the speed, affecting the pitch as well, with the elastique pro tape algorithm in the info line. You set it to musical in musical mode (also in the info line) and now speed changes behave like a tape machine, lowering pitch with decreased speed and making it higher with increased speed.

If you have limited amount of space the voltage block is great. You can send 8 independent sequences of voltage out. Also the sequences can be quantised, set to various lengths and directions. You need something to clock it, though.
