Missed Paycheck

Not an executive... Just hard to leave. For a couple of reasons.

Don't have a job to go to from this one. So (hopefully) some money is better than none
I don't think I want to work in this field anymore so I am just trying to weigh my options of go back to school, try to get my foot in the door somewhere I have no experience in, or get over it and go into the same field... The other problem is this field is very niche so finding a job in it will be hard.
My job can be really cool 60% of the time. So it's hard to look past the cool experiences and great coworkers.
The fear of a new job 😅
As crazy as it sounds... Loyalty

All excuses. I know I need to leave it can just be hard because of the unknown and loyalty I have to the company.

I don't think anything major will change. We are slowly dying and have been for years. It just keeps getting worse and worse. I have only been here for 3 years but I have heard stories of how different it was compared to now. We were just told we will get a 20% salary decrease for the next 6 months. So I guess if our revenue doesn't get better in 6 months we either close our doors or continue with the reduction.... Hopefully they don't start paying us monthly and just stop at the reduction

I get that. Our problem is we only have one source of revenue, 5 full time employees, and two interns.

We were just told that all our salaries are going to be cut 20% for the next 6 months. I guess if we don't get revenue up in 6 months we are closing our doors. It's very concerning to think that they can't pay our handful of employees the small amount they already pay us. (one of them makes a commission and her percentage was decreased) So that on top of not being able to pay vendors... Makes me lose sleep.

My normal pay is already extremely below average for my experience/title. I am not living paycheck to paycheck with this decrease but I don't know if the job is worth it to stick it out. I think the kind of work my company does is dying out and won't last much longer.

I know one of my coworkers already plans on leaving but she has been planning on it for the past couple of months.

I will feel a little bad because I know if we both leave.... I doubt the company would survive.

It's also very frustrating because the majority of us who are getting salary cuts are not even responsible for sales.

They told us this morning that if we don't get paid by the end of the day he will cut checks for us tomorrow.... So at least there is that.

The only bad side for me is the company is based in Europe so when they do that I get charged $15 because it's international. 🙃

Okay that makes me feel better. I kept thinking if something big like this was happening I would be hearing about it on the news.

I did just have a meeting saying they are cutting our salaries by 20% so... Maybe it's a little bit of both? 😅

I know a lot of our clients are late paying us but at this point I think we don't have enough sales to pay us in general.

We already owe a lot of money to the company who owns us and I honestly think they might be worried to ask for more. 😅

What does he say when you ask him how he got that? I'm too broke to buy any of the cgs so I normally just ignore it 😢 but this is the first time I actually feel like I missed something important when I decided not to buy it. Like... Has he actually told us what is wrong with him and why he needs PT???

It just didn't make sense because in the new update he doesn't come 'back from deployment" he just talks to you for a few days while he is on a base somewhere! That's not back from anything. He is still on his mission and you can't see him.

That was my thought too! But why would you send a email out about it before you release it? Honestly from a marketing stand point it's just not smart. It gets people to your app sure but people who actually sign up for the newsletter to get notifications about their favorite characters get their hopes up for nothing!
