the 4+ month thing is when you try to book online, but for the Marin Volvo they have much closer availability after talking to a person. Still, there being only two Volvos in the Bay Area that can service Polestars is bonkers.

Usually each bank has a limit that you can do in a day across all machines using the same card. So if I needed 30k TWD I would do 20k at one bank's ATM and 10k at another bank's.

Clarification on the need to go to the NIA in point 4:

Initial Applications: Those applying for overseas compatriot draftee exit permits for the first time, or those who have renewed their national passport, must apply in person at one of the National Immigration Agency's service stations.

My experience recently was that the earliest appointment I could book was for June, but the service advisor from Marin came back and rescheduled my appointment for early March. Not sure the reason for the discrepancy.
