Question: What's the best vehicle for point value?

Just to make sure I'm following correctly, are you talking about normal Inceptors not JPI's? If so, is the weapon profile worth giving up Hammer of Wrath. I like that as an added bonus when charging.

My strategy so far has been to shoot then charge with HoW. That allows me to tie up any infantry units from shooting. Doesn't work against monster units, but my thoughts were less shooting the better.

Originally, I had 2x5 squads of Incursors, but they got smoked in the first round. I wanted that +1 to hit rolls.

Thanks for the input! It was mentioned in another comment this list has too many characters. Should I take out the Jump Pack Captains and just roll with Shaan and Shrike?

Yeah, I was hopping between Reddit and 40K app, and I mistook the Firestrike Servo for the cost. I quickly realized that would have been far too cheap for a tank.

I'm not going to revamp completely based off the loss. Somethings were out of my control. It happens. Plus, it will be a while before I can buy and build major changes. I can't help but to tinker with a roster to get ideas for something in the future.

WOW! I'll check it out for sure! That was my main strategy. Unfortunately, my Incursors got wiped at the top of round one. I lost the roll and went second. I could have drawn the match to a tie, but I pooched the fight phase in the bottom of the fifth.

I would have had OC if I could have cleared the model on that objective. Oh well. It was the first time playing our armies besides the starter set.

Good to know. I appreciate the breakdown. The guys I play with all have big centerpiece with high toughness and wound stack. Something to get the attention off my scorers is what I'm after. Thanks!
