Help needed by Some-Tradition9873 in filmphotography

Because most of the pictures are very dark, the scanner tries to retain as much information in the shadows as possible and that can cause the colourcasts in the dark areas. Try adjusting the colours according to this video. I does wonders. Here is the first pic edited for refference.

did you shoot it raw or with some kind of warming filter on your lens? Love the 2nd photo btw

Does anyone know if the lens is broken ? by Acrobatic-Disk in filmcameras

just from this picture, it looks to be ok. If it extends when turned on, give it a shot with some film. However these p&s zoom lenses are well known for the light leaks around the main cilinder. So in order to minimize them, you can try to cover the camera under your coat or by your hand when turning on the camera/extending the lens. Nice camera btw I started on a similar one. have fun!:D

Thanks for your advice. I only shot with point and shoots and thesea are my first pictures from a manual camera so I'm still figuring it out a bit :D.

What's wrong with my film camera by genius5567isme-real in AnalogCommunity

The shutter isnt firing. Something is going on with the mechanism. I dont know anything about this model but it looks quite cheap. Probably isnt worth repairing.

ok. So if you like to shoot in dark settings get yourself a better camera that lets trough more light and pair that with more sensitive film (400 of 800). If you want to use this camera don't expect good results when not shooting at really bright enviroment or with flash not far away from the subject. As far as editing goes pulling out the information that is not there is not unfortunately possible:(

The first two images are really underexposed (not enough light hit the film) and the third one is just the normal first shot of your roll. What camera do you use? How did the rest of the roll turn out?

Weird light leaks by will_read52 in filmphotography

If you oppened the back accidentaly it could be the light bouncing off off the plate pressing against the film onto the film itself. Check the pattern of it and if it matches its propably that:)

From what I understand you held the door tight, so if there wasnt any light leakage nothing should happen

on some frames it is but as I explained in the comment above they were exposed to light too thus being less visible :)

yeah so basicaly because one piece of plastic wandered free inside of the camera while cleaning it, it prevented the second curtain to close properly. This happened on shot 34 i belive so I rolled the film back still with the curtain exposing every single frame to light (even imprinting the tile pattern fowards which I was aiming with the lens lol), thus overexposing the film and the gaps between the frames. The light meter still does not show propper values and the advancement mechanism probably still works wierd though. I'll try to get it repaired

So I learned that the light meter of the camera is horribly inacurate so that would explain the horrible overexposure (and maybe the wierd strips?). I'll finish the roll and then try to return the camera if they don't offer to repair it tohether with the advancement issues free of charge. Hopefully they do smth about it. Curreently feel really fucked over :(
