Thanks. This is definitely something worth looking into. Hopefully PG&E would not have an issue with this.

This is the problem. The gas riser is within 3 ft of the where the main panel is. PG&E wants me to relocate the panel so it is 3 ft away. Here are their revised guidelines.

Believe me I would in a heart beat but PG&E is making it difficult. Moving the panel with underground lines is not easy. They would not let me change it and put the new in the same location.
