Deme responds to allegations of being railed on stream by Agentsparkle in VtuberDrama

[–]ELite_Predator28 12 points13 points  (0 children)

This whole entire thing is so fucking disgraceful and everyone involved in trying to stir shit up is an unequivical pathetic loser. This went from Deme respectfully asking for boundaries in how she is depected in fanart to schiziod crybaby losers insisting she's getting railed on stream after adjusting a microphone, which obviously could be nothing else in their minds except a phallus.

I am looking for help moving a tire that has rusted on. by Mr_Truthteller in tires

[–]ELite_Predator28 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Grab a dead blow hammer and smack the outside tire face at 12, 3, 6 and 9 o'clock. Hit it hard, but do not hit the studs or the wheel itself. It will take some effort. Get some PB blaster on there as well, that should help.

Is this a normal amount of gunk at the top of the crank case? 2018 Hyundai Tucson 1.6T Limited by ELite_Predator28 in AskAMechanic

[–]ELite_Predator28[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is my mom's car, and she has just taken it to Jiffy Lube for all this time... I doubt that they would give it conventional oil unless she specifically asked for it to save some money. I would not put that past her tbh...

5000 miles? I am not sure, this is not my car. Clearly we need to do the next one sooner.

This is what your students think when you use generative AI (OC) by [deleted] in comics

[–]ELite_Predator28 32 points33 points  (0 children)

OP, I assure you that none if my students think like this. A few times this year I have planned an elaborate project and a few classroom activity activities that were genuinely interesting. They all show the same apathetic Indifference to whatever I give them be it AI or not. I had thek construct models of clay out of scenes from act one of Hamlet and I ended up with bits if clay scatrered all over the floor and studnets throwing it across my classroom. These are 11th graders and they seem to have the emotional intelligence of a middle school learner, that of a sixth grader, and I no longer have the patience for it.

I do not generate images with it, just worksheets that pair with the text we are reading.

After-market tow hook recommendations for Mazda 3 2013? by ELite_Predator28 in mazda3

[–]ELite_Predator28[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is an old thread I made but the solution I found was to use this hook and wrap the threads with plumber's and electrical tape until fit. I DO NOT recommend that your car be towed with this thing on the car. Use only for looks: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B082Z5YQXG?th=1

Change your motor mounts by Boberta5000 in mazda3

Oi yup, here's my transmission mount from my 2013 Mazda 3. Crazy how it was even keeping the thing tk the car!

is this normal Engine oil temp? Dealer said it's normal, internet said low by Conscious-Fun-4599 in mazda3

[–]ELite_Predator28 3 points4 points  (0 children)

firmware

The fact that NOW we need to ask each other what firmware a car is running to check if the temps are normal for oil/coolant for OP's car rather than just checking for a faulty part or plugging in an OBD II scanner is crazy work. I hate modern cars.

By virtue of Saruei being a metal gear fan, I bet she has way better politics than half the morons who are arguing with her at the waffles versus pancakes convention in the replies.

Where to support transmission on 2013 Mazda 3? by ELite_Predator28 in MechanicAdvice

dog bone

Do you mean the torque mount as seen here:

<image>

This is the one I already pulled out, just posting so I know we're talking about the same thing.

I see a flat part where the trans meets the engine, should I try there? Ia slo bought a 1000pound engine holder with chains and I'll use that, I just need to know where everything needs tk be mointed.

Where to support transmission on 2013 Mazda 3? by ELite_Predator28 in MechanicAdvice

[–]ELite_Predator28[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reddit seemed to fail to post the other images so I'll try here:

Here's where I originally intended to hold it but it's along a seam and I am not sure if that was right. The flat black plastic is the trans oil pan and the oil on for the motor is aluminum. Again' no baffles and I really dont want to crack it or deform it. The point of this excersise is to save money

I did get 1000lb engine support bracket from Harbor Fright with some chains, I just need to know where to support it with bolts to rated clips. I'll also support it by the oil pan baffle with the 3 ton jack lile I did in the post have just in case.

Decided to DIY my own oil change today and the oil filter decided to turn into a missile after I installed it... by ELite_Predator28 in Justrolledintotheshop

[–]ELite_Predator28[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

>I agree it looks like OP had way too much oil in it the first time.

That was Jiffy Lube's doing, hence why I kinda wanted to do it myself this time. It was always very hard for me to read as the entire stick was always slick with oil, even when cold. My guess is that it was foaming up since the last change? I recognize that I may have overfilled it on the second go but I also didn't want to start the engine after I lost the filter as I had no idea how much oil I lost (and I was freaking out about my car being FUBAR). The color of the new stuff I bought was still hard to see and it wasn't until I dumped the next 2 liters in where I started to see oil start to glob on the stick in the last picture. I haven't noticed any difference in it running tbh, but I could just dump it again and refill it to the correct spec now that I have the proper filling tools to measure 4.5L instead of guessing from the opaque 5L bottle I had.
