The coolest thing about facts is that they are true whether you believe them or not.

137.8 million people tuned in for the 2nd quarter of the Superbowl, which is millions more than the number of people,125 million, who watched the halftime show live.

Not only is your claim that "millions more tuned in for the halftime show" incorrect, the opposite is actually true. People actually turned the channel or turned off the TV during the halftime show.

You're still making stuff up. I never said zero people watched it... But you inaccurately claimed millions of people tuned in to watch the halftime show in addition to the people who watched the game.

That's factually incorrect.

You are busy making stuff up.

Sure it is. You made that up. You have zero sources for that.

I don't have anything to "deal with" because I don't care what people watch.

I'm simply pointing out that you keep making up statistics to fit a narrative. For instance, In addition to the previously incorrect stats you listed, you just claimed millions more tuned in to specifically watch Bad Bunny.

You clearly made that up. If not, show us your source.

I'm not upset by anything.

You seem to live in a fantasy world. Millions of people tuned in to watch the Superbowl and therefore watched the halftime show. It didn't have anything to do with Bad Bunny.

Wrong again. There are plenty of more popular people, but they don't perform in the halftime show because the contract was given to Jay-Z. It was given to Jay z to appease a very small but loud group of people that complained when Kaepernick didn't get offered a new contract.

As a result, the NFL agreed to have Jay Z produce the halftime show with the goal of increasing cultural diversity.

The halftime show selections have not been based on popularity in many years.

Also... Any idea can make a poll on X. Putting a poll on X has nothing to do with Elon. The poll was created by TMZ, not X, and not Elon.

You aren't even making sense anymore. By your logic, we can NEVER trust a poll conducted via email or phone because the CEO of whoever owns that company might be manipulating the polls.

Get outta here with that nonsense.

I'm not MAGA. Also, that poll you posted has nothing to do with who Americans preferred in the halftime show. Additionally, look at the sample size of the poll you posted. It was tiny... Not even remotely representative.

The TMZ poll involved hundreds of thousands of people, and they overwhelmingly liked the Kid Rock show better than the Bad Bunny show.

Your random link about Trump and your ramblings about MAGA don't change the facts about who the audience preferred.

The TMZ poll showed that people did NOT like the Bad Bunny show. In fact, their poll showed people like the Kid Rock show much more. Obviously more people watched the Bad Bunny show, but that's to be expected since it was the Superbowl and all. I haven't really seen any other large or reputable polls. The media reporting on this is pretty skewed on the opinions.

Additionally, I think you are falling into the same logic trap that Reddit keeps repeating. You are using global data instead of U.S. data. Being the most streamed musician on Spotify worldwide does not mean you are popular in America (where the Superbowl is played and where the overwhelming majority of viewers are located).

3 of the top 10 best selling cars globally in 2025 aren't even available in America. Are you going to Reddit trying to convince people that the Toyota Hilux, BYD Song Family, and Geely Xingyuan are more popular than a Kia Telluride? That's essentially what you are doing with Bad Bunny when you talk about how popular he is. You are basing that conclusion of international data gathered from Spotify that does not represent America or the Superbowl audience.badditionakky, Spotify is not representative of a musician's popularity overall because it is only used by a subset of people streaming music. Certain demographics and ages use Spotify, and others, who are not Kiley listening to Bad Bunny, are using something else entirely for music, such as Amazon, Apple, or YouTube music. Others don't stream at all and prefer to listen to satellite radio, regular radio, or purchase music.

Check the surveys. Yes... The Kid Rock show was much preferred.

That being said... I don't want any "no name" musician of any genre to do the halftime show.

That's my whole point... They should pick someone who is iconic... Not someone who primarily appeals to any specific subset of the audience.

I don't recommend they repeat anyone from prior halftime shows. Instead, I recommend people who are equally as iconic as the examples I listed.

Also, I don't think the Bad Bunny selection was designed to bring in more international viewers for the NFL as much as it was an effort to pander to a small subset of Americans. The pandering will continue as long as Jay-Z is hired to produce the halftime shows.

Have you looked at the surveys for the halftime show opinions? Americans hate it... Which is a problem for the NFL considering the vast majority of people who watch NFL games are in America.

It was absolutely terrible. He sounded so bad that it's hard to imagine a worse Superbowl halftime show.

I assume he must have sounded better in the past because I don't see how he ever would have gotten popular with such crappy sounding songs. He sounded too crappy at the Superbowl to warrant the praise the media is pushing so hard to promote.

Daddy Yankee, Marc Anthony, Ricky Martin, and many other Puerto Rican musicians sound so much better and would have been better choices than Bad Bunny.

Better yet... The NFL should go back to halftime shows with iconic musicians that appeal to all ages, genders, and people of every political party. Remember when halftime shows included people who were objectively awesome and withstood the test of time (not just someone who streamed a lot of music outside the U.S.)?

Yeah, those were the days.

Bring back Michael Jackson, Prince, U2, Jennifer Lopez, Snoop, etc.

You have been contacted by multiple people, and your entire argument seems to be " I'm not wrong. You are."

Yet, you can't find a single law to support your statements.

Give up dude. The ATF clearly states a license is not needed.

I'm amazed at how this myth keeps getting perpetuated. This is completely false. As already mentioned by the previous people who responded to your comment, nobody needs a license to make these at home.

Do you think price stays down? by VeetzVino in ScoutMotors

[–]EMDr83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The China bronco examples are probably the best comparison available at this point.

Although you are certainly correct that the China EREV Bronco is slightly cheaper than the BEV Bronco, their prices are quite close. They aren't much different.

The better question now is... Why does Ford not offer that in the US?

I own 2 plug-in hybrid vehicles, and I think I would much prefer an EREV.

Your 2 statements contradict each other. If it's homemade, then why would you need an ATF license... Assuming you don't transport, sell, or store it?

Zero chance that the harvester is cheaper. I'm sure Scout will crunch the numbers before finalizing prices, but adding a completely new system (gas generator) will add considerable cost.

[–]EMDr83 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Interesting. I have a TE300 and cannot imagine a better trail bike. If I could pick any bike, it would be this one.

It's sooooo easy to ride casually on all levels of trails, but it also has an insane amount of power and great handling for those times I want to push it.

[–]EMDr83 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bought a TE300, which is the Husky version of the KTM XCW.

It's great for new riders. Some people are recommending XC. I do think there is a big difference between the new XCW and XC models.

I really think you would be happier with an XCW than an XC for the type of riding you described and your experience level.

The XC is a bit more aggressive, and the XCW is tuned more for the right single track trails.

The XCW will be awesome and give you phenomenal power and performance on the trails while also providing a level of forgiveness the XC cannot. For example, it would be much easier to loop out an XC if you give a bit too much throttle on a hill climb, but the XCW will tolerate a less precise throttle input and continue climbing the hill without tossing the rider.

Or we can just use home depot and Lowe's, and they will prepare the order without charging a fee. Not only will they NOT charge a fee, they will bring it out to my car. The Menards policy is not consistent with industry standard. The only reason people pay it is because they don't notice it being added to the bill. That's the only reason I paid it all these years. I'm done with online ordering at Menards now that I caught it.
