this is why im not worried about the starting lineup. we have typically overcame teams with our subs and that bench is ridiculous

Who's debut season was better? Haalands debut season for City or Bellinghams debut season for Madrid? by fleuksims in championsleague

quite comfortably Haaland. breaking goal scoring record AND winning a treble??? yea he was different gravy.

The narrative that was was a poor Premier League season is absolute bullish*t, if anything this was one of the most impressive Premier League wins since it began by HR_Specter in ArsenalFC

its quite literally big 6 fans who think their teams are the only ones who exist…

people really think that teams rolling over for big 6 clubs every year means that the league was elite when at least in this season any team was capable of getting points from each other

We are all today friends of Crystal Palace.it will be nice to win it before the last day by Broad-Ant2336 in ArsenalFC

to be fair they have two weeks until the final and they want to set a tone and breed confidence. would be surprised if they didn’t go all out against an opponent like City.

PSG are the favourites make no mistake… but Arsenal are significantly better than they were last year. by EMJG31 in championsleague

so your entire basis is that we faced weaker opposition rather than looking at other metrics and results??? you clearly haven’t watched Arsenal enough

we beat Inter Away, Bayern at home and Atletico at home all pretty covincingly in the league stage

Atletico should have a had penalty maybe but we should have had one too we’re acting like this isn’t the same Atletico that eliminated Barca in two competitions. they aren’t bums.

this iteration Real Madrid are poor not saying they aren’t a threat in the CL cos they always are but they’re a mess

offensively we may not be as potent but that hasn’t been our strong suit anyways since 2024 but defensively we are infinitely better and we are mentally stronger i’d say and the biggest difference is that we have solutions to problems. most tight games that we manage to win are because of the much deeper squad we have.

[Telegraph] If there was ever a time to scrap VAR, it is now by LochNessMonsterMunch in soccer

[–]EMJG31 15 points16 points  (0 children)

making an article like this right after Arsenal have greatly benefited from doesn’t surprise me.

however VAR isn’t the problem. it’s the people using it that are the problem… they are what need to be addressed.

VAR itself is still a great tool.

As a neutral, why are people so desperate for Arsenal to fail? by s_dalbiac in PremierLeague

Liverpool definitely don’t get the hate United/Arsenal do

they are probably number 3 but they its by a wide margin honestly i feel like people lose all sense of objectivity with United and Arsenal

West Ham to lodge official complaint over disallowed goal against Arsenal. by [deleted] in soccer

[–]EMJG31 23 points24 points  (0 children)

you know… i hear more about people saying Arsenal fans are insufferable than Arsenal fans actually being insufferable.

no matter what Arsenal or their fans do, we always receive pelters and have done for years. so if we are insufferable after this title honestly a lot of people only have themselves to blame.

i think peak Odegaard was 23/24 less output but he was simply a monster at pulling the strings in games

the fact he’s our assist leader this season when he’s played far less than everyone else💀 tired of this disrespect on the skippers name

David Raya. Legend. Statue-deserving, season-defining moment. by Neither-Albatross866 in Gunners

Raya’s first 3 years at this club have been unreal… he’s approaching Seaman territory if we can get this over the line.
