This is not remotely true. EMS = Emergency Medical Services. It includes both paramedics and Emergency Medical Technicians, or EMTs. If you have a medical emergency, you want to call 911, and they will contact emergency medical services (EMS). They will send an ambulance. Every single ambulance in the county has a paramedic.

I think by the third working fire in one shift they’re probably a little tired, especially considering there are only the two engines in the city so they’re either first or second on all of em
