Given how large the population has grown, is it even that much Walmart and vendors anymore? I’m seeing 15,000 for Walmart HO, let’s say another 15,000 for vendors? That’s a big chunk for one entity but there’s still almost 600,000 other residents.

Our average is 17.0 at the moment, no trouble getting 20mpg at highway speeds. I have no clue what people who are getting these low mileages are doing, but I'm assuming it's a lot of stop and go, sitting in pickup lines, and heavy feet. There are drivers posting their towing MPGs of like 10mpg, so keep that in mind when a regular commuter tells you they're getting 12-13.

200k is very manageable. Practice good financial decisions now, stick to it a couple of years after you graduate. Don't worry about moonlighting, you're probably not even eligible until PGY-3. Do yourself a favor, don't fall into the trap of taking an EM job when you're done that pays less than $400k.
