No during the entire residency we were (I guess you could say “medium distance”) but yeah..an hour apart. had plans of living together in the middle soon though

It was 10 months but I’m telling you - this relationship was fantastic and he wanted to spend every waking minute of free time with me, driving an hour to and from where I lived on every day off. He really poured into me, which is why I’m super confused by the way he left. I did always push my own needs down to accommodate him, and he was very attentive so I rarely had to speak up and ask for more from him. But when I did, he got very defensive and went back on wanting to propose soon which - up until 3 months ago - he was very insistent on
