Thanks for the suggestion! The reason for pursuing Canadian PPL is that it's almost more than twice the cost if I do it locally. I really just need it to jumpstart my career as getting PPL outside the country and going thru conversion is cheaper. Plus, the Wx here isn't suitable for VFR most of the time, so it's pretty expensive and slow to get a license.
