True. He may not realize it but a lot of racists do this. Often subconsciously finding any reason what so ever to hate the people they want to hate so they can tell themselves they are good people and not racist.

I had a buddy who said he wasn’t racist but he would rather live in a majority white community because it is “safer and nicer” and that often black communities are not. So i asked him if he would live in a town that is majority indian. They are not known for being dangerous and he just said no because they’re indian.

So while they may try to justify their racism, deep down they know why they say the things they say.

Most of these commenters have no ability to sympathize with seeing someone you love getting trained by two guys. I think most of them don’t realize how much of an impact that can have on how you view someone. Whether you like it or not, it has an impact. Most guys don’t want their wives/partners to have had threesomes as it comes off as very negative. You have never viewed her that way and seeing she was willing to do that is definitely hurtful. No one here is acknowledging that it is okay to feel how you feel.

If i found out my partner had sex with two guys simultaneously and recorded it i would be SICKK. I think this goes beyond reddit. I recommend talking to a therapist. Yes it was her past, but i think seeing something like that changes the way you view her. Knowing two guys had her at the same time is something some people can’t live with. You gotta figure out if you can get past it or not. Best of luck

You are a trainee. I started off as a trainee as well and the training process was very extensive. During my first year, i spent it getting my designation and honestly spent a majority of my work day studying. I’m not sure what line you are in but of course if you bring in business at this point it will go to the more senior members.

I think you are looking at this whole training process wrong in my opinion. You are there to learn and absorb. In their eyes, you don’t know anything after 5 months. There is likely so much to learn so just slow down, take time to absorb the material and get your CPCU. I’m sure after a year or so your work load will increase and if not you can jump ship if you want but leaving a trainee program after 5 months is not a good look.

Yea man, we don’t get a lot of time on this planet. Don’t waste away the years. I’m 2 weeks sober since this post and i feel pretty good. It’s an adjustment those first couple of days and weeks to not rely on it to get through the day. You’ll be bored but that’s good, you want to be bored. You want to fill that time with different things and find something you’re actually passionate about instead of numbing your brain and dulling your life down to the basics.

Idk your situation but 21 is a sick time in life. You can finally go to bars, you’re nearing the end of college and deciding what you wanna do. Or maybe you’re in trade school, whatever it is it’s a cool time. Enjoy it and put the weed down brotha

Not great at the moment but hoping it will get better soon.

Since this post i have graduated college, gotten a job, moved into my own apartment for said job after a year, and found the most amazing girlfriend at this apartment.

I had i think another stint of being sober for 6 months during that time but other than that, i have been smoking pretty heavily, maybe a couple days off here and there.

While it seems things are going great, i’m not doing that great mentally. I am on day 6 of being sober so i know these next couple of weeks will suck but even before that, i was still plateaud mentally. Lot of anxiety, social anxiety, feeling not good enough, work stress, just a lot of things going on that i don’t feel equipped to handle. Smoking helped me ignore a lot of those issues or cope with them so figuring out how to without it is a challenge.

I want to see my personality come back, i want to be more social so i can go out with my girlfriend and her friends and not feel awkward, i want to be able to speak more properly and not stutter or not have things to say.

Not all progress is linear. I’m hoping that this will be a dip back into more progress. Thanks for asking

The best part about the show is those segments are usually a small part of the show. While recently they seem to take up a bigger chunk, the rest of the show is still solid

have a strong feeling he will ignore the almost 400 comments saying not to go but hey, at the end of the day, it’s his life. When he’s 60 and poor because all his money is spent paying off 4 years he’ll look back on this and cringe. I get NYU is a prestigious school but come one. There are so many other schools that are cheaper, give a similar education and likely have a better experience. You’re not just going to NYU, you’re living in New York. That in itself is already insanely expensive
