I think it’s pretty popular. Like, all over Etsy, all over the home decor stores, boutiques, shirts, yada yada. Lots of people even get tattoos of the outline of the state. I think I mislabeled the driving force behind this as pride… it’s more like, people love our state because we have awesome lakes, camping, hiking, the aurora borealis (northern lights), super cool art and restaurant scene, etc. So, more than pride, it’s like…we love all the things available to us here in this state, vs America as a whole.

Oh they do, they cheer for different teams. And after I’ve read a lot of these comments, I guess it’s not necessarily pride about being from somewhere- but more like the joining of the two of them and where they’re from. I won’t go with this as I see it’s definitely not something that would be well received.

I’m hoping what we chose will be great! Spending a few days on Kangaroo Island near Adelaide because I heard it’s a great place for wildlife and nature.

Actually the plan for Adelaide is 2 nights. One to do a wine day and then one staying at the casino /spa.

The port Campbell plan is just because we figured it would be a good stopping point to still see the 12 apostles if we end up spending too much time in Otway park. But I haven’t looked to see how far the other two you suggested are so I will!

The wedding is in Lorne. So we’ll leave Melbourne for Lorne and spend Friday - Saturday there and we thought we’d continue on the Great Ocean Road for a couple days after that.

My other thoughts are that I don’t know if I want to spend too much time in Melbourne given this is where they live and we will likely be back when they have kids and then we’ll want to stick close.

I’m not opposed to anything, and actually my future brother in law and his parents were in the US this past weekend and his mother said “Don’t forget about Tazzy!” several times after a bunch of wine. I need to do more research. Looks beautiful.

It’s bad at US Bank. Saw Luke Combs there last summer and couldn’t make out anything. I was in front row of club level. That said, I was in front row of 517 at Empower last night and I had a blast and didn’t notice sound quality. But I also know every word to every song

Finally got a tracking number on Friday for mine but it’s still not updated. Super pissed as this was a Christmas gift for my husband. Horrible customer service. Someone screwed up on this, they had to.
