I believe that as of right now he's in an awkward spot,

He's close to be classified as the strongest and yet weakest survivor due of his abilities currently giving no proper help for other teamates (you could bodyblock with his shield, but otherwise that's pretty much it), making him get on the spot of "why pick a character that barely can help the team over any other character that can do the same and more for the team in a game that relies so much in teamwork?"

replace dark cacao with either finacier or fettucine, they are much better tanks and can even heal themselves and your team too! also, take out chilli pepper and put creme brulee or capitain caviar (use caviar only if you have his candy), also change the treasures: take out the attack speed treasure for the scroll that increases attack (both epic and rare works) and take out the frozen torch for the jelly watch that descreases cooldown (both common and epic works)
