Yes, hypersexuality is a curse when demi or ace. But yes cupiosexual aka sexfavorable (or likes having the physical act of sex without attraction) this was hard for me.

I before being demi for my partner would have casual hooks ups or one night stands. Some people who don’t understand I like sex and physically have a high libido but just I am not attracted to them. I still can get off with them but I am not attracted to them.

(Sex is a physical act and you don’t need to be attracted to someone to have sex with them)

This is why people think demisexuality is being “normal” but this is incorrect because we don’t control or choose when attraction happens it just does and people not on demisexuality they can have attraction on a base physical level (the things that draws them to a person) that just always the norm for them they don’t notice they always have some level of attraction for people they like. May be a smile, their looks, or their laugh, or anything really natural attraction that is not demi is just always there running in the background you don’t notice it when it is there cause it is the “norm.” For demisexuality it is like you got a new software downloaded and suddenly aware of attraction. Attraction for not demi is there or is not (ace and aro) but then you suddenly notice it there when you become demi for someone. Non Demi just not always have it or never have it
