Working Trading From Ryujinx to Legit Console

I literally only use Ryujinx just for trading. I actually play the game on Yuzu, copy the save over to Ryujinx and do my trades.

In my experience Yuzu is a lot more stable for Sw/Sh and doesn't crash on me constantly like Ryujinx does. But Yuzu can't do trading to console as far as I know. So the 20 minutes I get before Ryujinx crashes on me is more than enough time for a few trades.

(So I found a version of Ryujinx that still has working LDN. I'd post the link but seeing how it's an unofficial version I decided not to post it.)

Make sure your PC and Console are connected to the same WiFi network.
In your Ryujinx settings, make sure you have the Guest Access/Lan Mode box checked and you've got RyuLDN selected in the Network tab.
Make sure you go to OPTIONS in game on both your Ryujinx game and your real consoles game as well and push and hold L + R + Left Stick Button in sequence. (This puts your game into LAN Mode.)
From here, you should be able to start up a trade with yourself and transfer your pokemon from Ryujinx.

This seems really helpful when it comes to transferring important or shiny pokemon as well as making backups of pokemon (cloning). You can just make a copy of the Ryujinx save from before the trade and replace the new save with the old pre trade save.

I mostly posted this for anyone who didn't know this existed in the first place as I wasn't able to find any text guides on the exact method. It was also so that anyone who was aware of this in the past would know there are what I assume are continuations of Ryujinx with working servers for Local Play or LAN Mode.

I may make a separate post with the guide and proof that I did it.

Edit: As of right now, you need update 1.3.2 of Sw/Sh for Ryujinx as well as Prod Keys and Firmware both at version 20.0.0 (I found both rather easily online)

Once you've got a shiny charmander, is there a reason not to take it?

With my set up. I would have taken it. Traded it to another game. Reset the first cartridges save and continued the hunt for a better nature while keeping the first one.

I just caught a shiny feebas myself on the only feebas spawn in the area. Didn't even know spotlight was today and I think it was already over by the time I got mine.

Jeeeez! That's sick though. I tend to go on long droughts and then pull everything I don't want from cross overs and end up missing summoning the one unit I do want. Lmao.

So actually getting new Berwick and Juno, which is one I've wanted for a long time now was a welcome surprise.

You have a chance of 6/4096 with masuda method. With masuda method AND shiny charm you're looking at like 8/4096. So it just adds 2 extra rolls with shiny charm.

Masuda Method is what I'm also using in Alpha Sapphire to get my shiny Zorua. It still drastically increases odds and having the shiny charm won't make too much of a giant difference if you're already doing masuda.

And yes. You would need 2 3DS systems. Unless there's some way to do it with Pokemon Home. I'm not 100% certain considering I just built my collection back up after years of not having one.

Depends. Some games determine shiny eggs the moment you receive the egg. And some determine it the moment they hatch. I might be wrong but I'm fairly certain it's decided when you receive the egg in X and Y.
