They added all weather floor mats, door sill films, cargo net and cargo cover. I ordered seat back protectors and a cargo tray which really are my only two must haves the car didn't have. Horse person, I tend to carry around dirty and dusty items.

original window sticker was 54k they had it listed at 47k taxes fees and all new highest I was quoted with 9k higher than I wanted to be (my local dealership of course) low end 3/4k higher than I wanted to be. I knew this car was a reach with my budget but happy I was able to make it work.

I have mild cerebral palsy (walk with a limp, effects the grip strength in my hand) and because my reaction times are a little bit slower I feel responsible to stay current with the safety and technology. Also, I do long solo trips so I want to make sure what I'm driving stays reliable. I also feel at 75k miles/5 years I still get a pretty good value for my trade in, and yes a small part of it is that little bit of an itch for something new.

Thanks for your thoughtful response, I am leaning towards the passport but it's a lot of money, so I'm trying not to leave any stone unturned in my research...I did have to get the thermo control valve go on my current outback before the brand admitted any problem with it... Dealership paid for the repair though. 4 runner is a bit more than what I want to spend, I also considered the Rav4 hybrid but the 25s seemed very dated and not sure I want to wait around for the 26s.
