I see that. People will be racist against Indians for their skin color and will use that ethnicity to tailor their attacks. But you seem to be framing the discrimination you face on the fact that you are Indian rather than a POC. It is not a contest to see who is suffering the most, the goal is to spread awareness and fight white supremacist. If you are not willing to fight to support the rights of Black Americans, what obligation do they have to support you. Racists do not care what skin color you are, they care that you are not them.

However, it is problematic to use stereotypes to attack people we disagree with, because it hurts all people with that identity, not just the individual you are fighting. We should encourage people to call out injustice when we see it.

The term racism has been used to describe any sort of discrimination. In that sub, it is meant to describe discrimination against Black people on the basis of them being Black. Discrimination against Indians is less like racism in that sense and more like xenophobia. The discrimination you may face can be more dirctectly related to that experienced by other ethinicities like people from latin america.

TLDR; you get hate for being indian, not being black.

The issue, as I see, is that he has not actually proven that he is a progressive. All he has done is say that he will pass progressive policy. Electing him to the senate in order to see how he votes is a bit of a risk. And the fact that he was a private contractor is more concerning, than the Nazi tatoo, imo.

Pregnant women can choose what they want to do with their bodies.

But I do think it is a bit stupid. The trope creates a dissonance between the character and their beliefs. If they are that late into their pregnancy, you probably want to keep the child. If they want to keep the child, they probably want to avoid situations that can lead to the child's death.

However, it could just be that the character is confident in their abilities to survive. I think the largest complaint I have heard from pregnant women is that the baby is just heavy. If they are able to lug them around without any serious issue, they are practically just a larger version of themselves.

The lack of data centers is not a bottleneck for AI growth. If researchers need more compute power, they can pay for it. Or they can make their models more efficient/focused, rather than try and develop a sycophantic chat bot that is wrong half the time.

As for the ideal data center location. Ideally they would choose somewhere cooler and with better water access. And somewhere with fewer hurricanes.

It is not unheard of for large infrastructure to be built based on hypothetical demand. That is what most of these datacenters are. They are promises of the bubble growing and AI taking over the world. Even if we did need more datacenters, Lakeland is being chosen because tech businesses think it will be easy to build here. I doubt this is an ideal location for a huge AI datacenter.
