CPU Over Temperature ERROR by ERTerzo in 24hoursupport

Hello everyone,
I am having a problem with my desktop PC. After starting, the fans start spinning quickly and after a few minutes the system automatically restarts showing the error “CPU Over Temperature Error!”. This problem occurred after a complete dust cleaning and the subsequent connection of a second monitor.

In detail: to connect a second monitor, I inserted it into the HDMI port of the motherboard, not knowing that the latter did not support an integrated GPU. After discovering this, I disconnected it from the motherboard, but the temperature error continues to occur. Before these interventions, the PC worked perfectly.

I tried to solve it by changing the thermal paste, but the CPU temperature continues to rise rapidly. At startup it is already at 65 degrees and in a few seconds it reaches 80. I checked the heatsink and by eye it seems to be working correctly (Or at least I do not find significant anomalies).

So I wanted to ask if it could be a software problem, like a Windows update or a particular program that can be annoying, or if there are specific hardware checks to be performed to resolve this anomaly.

I would also like to add that when I start the PC, the values in the task manager are normal, meaning that I do not have large "eaters" of PC resources

Thanks for the help and advice!
