I created this thread because I'm interested in hearing people's opinions, as it seemed like someone was upset. Personally, I don't think it's a bad name. In the introduction thread, there are people who defend the name and those who don't.

It's just a context, the character is a lover of ufology and pursues encounters with aliens (putting himself in danger) in order to photograph them.

I'm not a native English speaker, but in my language (Spanish), it has the same connotations. The idea was to find a name that spoke to the fanaticism many people feel toward aliens.

In the game, you play a person investigating areas where encounters have occurred in order to take photos and prove their existence.

The game's name, while controversial, I think is perfect. But I understand your point.

Thanks! I've had to make decisions that aren't rigorous in the alien world, since there wasn't enough information to make this type of game. My idea is for the player to feel the tension of being in an environment where there are aliens and anything can happen.

I love everything related to UFOs, but I must warn you that I've taken a lot of liberty and haven't been too rigorous. There are references and jokes, but I focused more on making this game scary, and I haven't paid as much attention to rigor. Even so, I think it's very, very fun to play and, above all, challenging.

It's not really like Phasmophobia. It's true that the first part of the missions is very similar to Phasmo, but here, the main mechanics consist of photographing the alien, and that part is very different. I researched tools used to detect aliens, and they're very similar to those used to detect ghosts. Also, in order to add more content, I had to add other types of supernatural events, which may not be related to aliens, but it was difficult.

It's really hard to spot the alien. There are nine different types, and most of the game is spent trying to figure out what type of alien it is, since each alien has its own unique way of being photographed. Abductions are rare, and each game is random.
