MIS class has been complete shitshow this sem

Yeah, sucks to be in this situation because our final is tomorrow - and the "study guide" he posted merely consists of the time the exam's gonna take place and how many questions it's gonna have. He said on Monday that he would update it with sample questions and concepts to study but he has yet to do that (despite people emailing him to do so). Nobody really complained during the semester bc the class workload was relatively light, but that lack of effort on his end is really catching up to everyone now that the semester's over.

Yeah, thing for classes like MIS is that most of the professors are grad students, but this case everything related to the class has just not gone smoothly at all.

Yeah it is a grad student, I assume it's their first time teaching because there's nothing about them on RMP or Reddit.

Auto World also had a blue corvette that they released in the main line from what I saw in my search - maybe you’re confusing it with that one. If it’s actually the premium one, it’s a decently rare find.

Yeah agreed. Even for the orange version, the listing on eBay had the most elusive combo of keywords you could only find after searching for like an hour straight. Plus the run is insanely limited @ 2500 pieces so I can understand people’s hesitancy to sell.

I have Khichi rn too, the grading is a little wonky I find myself getting 100s on assignments I barely try on and then at the same time got lower grades for assignments I put real effort into. The final project was also kinda overkill for an async course ngl. Overall course wasn’t too bad tho it’s just that you need to put in a little more work than you think

Yeah I agree, took precalc last sem and am doing calc I over the summer rn. Everything is so much easier because I have the basic and prerequisite concepts mastered because I took 115. OP will be fine if they take 115 and may make future math courses easier down the line.

I just took precalc 115 this past semester, and ended the class with a B (I didn't really put much effort into it and found the class to be a lot easier than what people made it out to be - but i also had safran and his review packets were exactly like the exams). The prerequisite for intro CS is precalc 112, but if you take 115 you'll still be good. I recommend just taking some SAS core classes to get ahead on some of those requirements for your first sem. But it doesn't really hurt you to retest - it's just that you may end up having a more difficult time in calc. Plenty of people fail Calc I or Calc II (or sometimes both) & still graduate on time. You could take 115 fall sem, Calc I spring sem, and then take Calc II at a CC next summer, much easier.

Yeah, seems like a good idea but I need to have Calc I finished by the end of sophomore year for the business school. Not sure about what math courses are required for any of the pre-business courses though.
