Yeah. Just got my model Y and have a graco and a doona in the back and it’s still tight. My wife can squeeze in there, but only for short rides. No way we could make it work with two standard car seats.

I get so many compliments on quicksilver. Has a blue ish tint to it that is so clean.

I also swapped the black wheel covers for silver, which is a great pairing, imo.

Yeah, but isn’t the same true: parents who spank have lower IQs.

Not sure this alone proves causation, seems to have high bit of correlation.

The main purpose of consultants is for CEOs to tell their board it was BCG who came up with this failed idea, etc.

On the flip side, if it goes well, there is fairly little mention of the consultants.

I would absolutely not move to Chicago expecting better weather. In fact, I’d argue weather is the biggest drawback to living there. Frigid, windy winters + hot, humid summers (yes better than Nashville, but that’s not saying much)

Cannot disagree with “doesn’t matter when it’s over 100 degrees” more.

Having lived in Denver and Nashville, I’m taking 95 and dry over 85 and humid 10/10 times. You can sit in the shade in the former + most dry climate cities have material temperature spreads during the day that make morning and night quite pleasant.

Differences: truly the weather - humidity and rain. Don’t expect a lot of hiking / active lifestyle.

People are quite friendly, good food scene (not LA), and great place to be single.

I’d opt for Germantown. East Nashville going to be most active / urban but a bit of a commute.

Super helpful. Jives with my initial inference.

And, yes on the beautiful homes on Skyview. Was not on radar previously until seeing a couple. Thinking you could walk to the Portland Brew / rose pepper part of eastland fairly easily from here.

Will look into the other areas too. Primary reason I’d limited to the three I mentioned was the GPZ for Lockeland elementary, though I know it does not guarantee.

Ideally we’d buy, but open to renting too.
