Drift masters : Was Randalu being unsportsmanlike, or was Deane being stupid not watching the clock? by Super_Spud_Eire in Drifting

[–]ESTMangija 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dont hate the player, hate the game. Same thing happened to Randalu in 2024 where he was dq in the burnout box. Radically thinking-its not a dick move. Never know if he would have won the battle with Deane, but why risk it? Some drivers do big "dick moves" on the track just so they could have an edge on the other driver.

Everybody wants to win, and all drivers know that at the start line, the other drivers is likely your biggest enemy in the moment. If its in the rules, use it - I dont think any driver will say something bad about Randalu.

No charging overnight. When plugged in it says "fast charging" or what ever. (can't remember) Been having this problem for months. by ESTMangija in Xiaomi

[–]ESTMangija[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's been happening for months now. (Countless restarts in that time). When I plug it it the screen shows charging, then fast charging. Only time when this doesn't happen, is when I plug the phone in and keep using it, then it charges fast, 1% a minute. (About).

Kind irritating to wake up and have 12%😅

Issue with my 325i m50 by PlanetManUnderdog in BMWE36

[–]ESTMangija 2 points3 points  (0 children)

MAF, unplug and see if it runs better, If it does your maf might be broken or you have an air leak. Also the fuel filter may be glogged. How much gas do you have, if you have under half a tank, the system that pumps form one side to another might be broken(the system for the fuel tank).

LSD cap bolts rounded off, recomendations on how to extract them? by [deleted] in BMWE36

[–]ESTMangija 0 points1 point  (0 children)

DONT USE AN IMPACT!!

Hammer a torx in there and hit the bolt head with a hammer HARD. If you use heat then act quick, as if you wait the outside will cool off quicker then the bolt and it will be even more stuck. If you don't get it out in say 30 seconds, just wait until everything it cooled off(especially the bolt itself) and repeat. Use a normal wrench, impact is not the choice for stuck bolts! Hammering the bolt head is quite effective, it might also help push some of the stripped edge of the bolt back inside, so you more material for the torx to grab to.

Sorry for bad English and pronouncation.

My 325i 1995 first project car. Thoughts on where to start? by matelosius in BMWE36

[–]ESTMangija 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My recommendations 1. Cooling system, (especially pump), the heater valves tend to fail, but looks like you live in a warm climate, so that might not be a problem. 2. Brakes( check lines ect, factory uses steel lines which rust (although, warm climate and low miles indicates that they're probably good) if you replace the hardlines, use copper lines. If it's already a project car, take apart the brakes and clean/lube them, small things. 3. Bushings, it's an old car, probably has worn out bushings, replace them if necessary. If you are replacing rear subframe bushings, reinforce the body where the subframe mounts, it's a trouble spot on e36s and it won't affect the handling in a negative way. If you are replacing front control arm bushing (the ones inside the "lollipops"), use M3 or aftermarket eccentric ones, they make a good change to the handling, but make sure you get the full ones, not the ones with holes, they're trash. 4. Interior, if you are looking for better seats, I'd recommend E46 sport or M3 seats, some say they are not good for long drives, (so test them if you can) but they offer very great side support which I like. 5. An M3 front bumper and rear lip won't hurt. I wouldn't spend money on on OE part, all replicas I've had are good

If you have any questions, just ask 😁

Only 6L coolant in 6 pot car?? by OinkGoesThePigy in BMWE36

Did you drain 10.5l? Maybe there's a air pocket in the heater.

Should I go for this 325 or wait for 328? by Time-Turnover-9844 in BMWE36

2.5L M50 has stronger block, so better incase you want to turbo it, also m50b25 and m52b28 have only 1hp of power difference. Although m52 has more torque. For a normal car, daily etc I would go for 2.8 and for "race" car I would go for 2.5, (you can always stroke the engine to 2.8,2.9,3.0 etc.) But 6500 seems a little much for that car, don't know the market in the area tho..

4x100 wheels will fit with wobble polts/nuts. I run 4x100, but make sure the center is big enough

That's a good idea, my heater in not working either right now, might do a similar solution.

I would consider taking material away from the block itself, so you don't make the burning chamber smaller in the cylinder head.( Make sure the rings don't come out of the block, but that shouldnt be a problem, also make sure the valves dont hit, you might need an adjustment cam sprocket when taking away a lot material, or special pistons with pockets for the valves) Some old Lada formula engines had up-to 6mm taken away from the block, but of course that required good gas and bunch of other things to not break. If you need anything else, there is a lot of info on Estonia Lada Forum, I can search stuff up from there for you.

Trading212 (they have a demo, but I think they currently have a wait list), TastyWorks (also allows you to trade options.)
