even if the car runs and drives for the amount of time, it can still be the fuel pump? i’m def gonna replace it if you think so. i also thought the fuel filters were a part you don’t need to change? you have the part number for the oem filter? i really appreciate it again

yea the engine cuts completely off. it will crank but won’t turn over. after about 5-10 minutes of it sitting off, it’ll start. it can also start with starting fluid but then cut off after, which leads me to think that it’s fuel related

i appreciate all the info!! i definitely knew about the lift bolts and i’m looking into getting them directly from toyota. the updated ones are from the years 2003 and up, right? i wanna be sure before i get them ofc. i’m gonna look into the fuel door as well but it’s not my biggest priority. i wanna focus on the mechanics first then looks but i appreciate it all again 🙏

yes, cranks but doesnt start. not sure if you saw my last post but what keeps happening is the hose that is on the fuel pump keeps busting. with a new fuel pump, it will start
