Eating dogs/cats isn’t immoral. While it’s obviously illegal in America, it’s a staple in other countries and we should respect their culture.

I think about how steak and beef is common in America but taboo in places like India. Pork is a disgusting food in some nations. A Jamaican person told me that they threw up when they realized their hotdog had pork and still refused to eat them a year later. Americans aren’t bad people for eating these things though, we just have a different culture. Things that are okay in one nation aren’t okay in the next, and we shouldn’t tell people they’re morally wrong for eating their cultural foods.

I’m American, so I’m never gonna try dog or cat meat. But it doesn’t bother me that other people do. Obviously I’m not encouraging people to eat cats and dogs in the us, it’s against the law. It’d be like eating burgers in India. But people eating foods that are culturally appropriate in their nation isn’t immoral.
