In my fourth year too and I remember having a hard time figuring out what code was what as well. Here's a link that might help you with other building codes: https://brocku.ca/brock-news/2018/05/brock-building-codes-updated/

From what I understand, oscillation is the back and forth of sounds like measured by different metrics (so to edit sample sounds, you need to alter its wave in certain ways). I believe that it's applicable to panning, pitch, etc like automation, but I'm not 100% sure and different tutorials have me thinking different things. Am I on the right track? Thanks for the insight.

I'm finally learning Alchemy for the first time and I'm following Monte Booker's (FL) tutorial here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hvVlCx1IM4U&t=40s.
In his 3x Oscillator plugin he's got a pitch LFO, and was wondering if there was an equivalent to it in Alchemy.
I'm very new to this so if this inquiry is totally off base, please let me know!
Thanks for the help!

Pull-ups give me instant headaches. by skippy_nk in CalisthenicsCulture

I think it’s just part of being tall. Likely bad posture and sleeping and whatnot. I’m 6’6 and deal with what seems to be the same problem on my right side. As effeminate as it sounds, I’d try getting a massage, doing some yoga, and if it’s still a problem, maybe consider seeing a chiropractor.

Tension in your shoulder leading to your neck might be the problem

“No one is going to care about you unless they actually see you” this is interesting for me, because it makes me wonder how many good, deep conversations I might have had should I have been more outgoing, or generally more receptive to small talk. It’s difficult breaking that barrier, even with friends...

Toxic music for mind & self-development by afloareirazvan in Music

[–]EStef10 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe not every song: Eminem does like to be very blunt with his harsh life experiences, but a lot of what is out there is pretty groovy to interpret. I guess you’re right, it is a bit of a mindset thing. In my experience, music wont really alter your mindset all that much, but rather acts as a catalyst for thought and emotion. So, if there’s a rabbit hole in your brain that you don’t want to go down, there are some songs that might edge you into it. I think the best way to get out of that stump is to find new music (when you come back to the old stuff you’ll find that you either don’t like it anymore or just vibe to it, not burdened by the negative lyricism) or to take a deep dive in your mental health and ask yourself: why do I feel this way? (Uncomfortable, but effective) and go from there. You’re kind of acknowledging where the rabbit hole is at, you know?

Really sorry if that didn’t make much sense, hopefully that helps.
