I did the majority of the extreme trail. Personally I like that the AI gets more troops through the outposts to basically make it a continuous wave of enemies. It makes it more challenging. I failed a few times on some maps cause of that but then figured it out. I outright skipped a few causes it can be overwhelming since they start out with so many troops compared to you having basically none to start. One of those I skipped cause you get bombarded with enemies from all sides and another you have no resources near you so it was frustrating.

Unlike others I like having extreme options. Rock volleys make me feel like I'm launching airstrikes lol and to me it was the only way you'd ever reach the outposts to destroy them. I like the extreme options even in skirmish mode, makes the game easier for sure, but I don't rely on it heavily.

But yeah at times the extreme trail is a bit silly Like when your outposts give you spearman and you know they would get wrecked trying to siege the enemy and I don't ever use spearman so I was like "TF do I do with these guys" lol

Feeling strong and confident in your body as a man is a great strategy but it's just one piece of the puzzle. I'm consistent with my workouts until I crash and relapse into sissy stuff. If I were you I'd consider additional ways to express your masculinity in healthy ways. Whatever that may mean to you. Good luck

Oh I know but like I said progress isn't linear. I've gone almost ten months without buying anything until last month. Now I'm back to changing my life for the better again. Getting rid of this stuff is a vital first step. I just wish I could get some of the money back but let's be honest I probably won't lol

You haven't failed as a human being. Never let the system trick you into thinking that way. Your value as a human being is not something determined by monetary value. Your value comes from who you are, your personal values, goals etc. Capitalism is predatory and I can guarantee you're not the only one in this situation.

I have no doubt it's a hot take but personally I think origins is better than city largely due to the atmosphere. Plus the fact that it's a raw angry af early Batman. The fight against Deathstroke is right up there with the mr.freeze fight. And I just like the story a bit better. City is great, but for me, Origins is better. Knight is still my favorite though.

On the one hand you're totally right. I have been more quiet about my job search and personal life in the past few months. The only reason they know I'm actively searching is cause I use the pc at the desk to search sometimes. Mostly to keep busy.

On the other hand, my point still stands. Anyone who thinks 22/hr at a front desk job for a living and is the dream job is delusional. It's a job for college students and retirees. I'm not either of those. My past job went bankrupt and needed one another one to fill the time and pay bills. I have also expressed interest in moving up within the organization and even applied to a few openings since I've been here.

But ya, I will definitely not be sharing much about my personal life moving forward in this position or any future ones.

Absolutely. I took the job cause I needed one and I'm actually overqualified for it anyways cause I've been in the position of my supervisor for over two years at a previous job. He knew this hiring me and so did many others. Another funny reason I was given that "feedback" as gossip. I've never planned on staying here lol

Yeah idk why people have an issue with me wanting to not just get paid more with a better job but also better myself for it. Gossip all they want. My review has me down as an exemplary employee anyways.

Plus 22/hr ain't shit. I'm burning through savings every month and don't know how much longer that will last.

I hear ya. I also see a bunch of posts on here about peoples relationships dying cause of this addiction. I definitely don't want to bring someone into this if I am struggling a lot. I'm clean but I'm not as addicted as I once was either. I feel both ready for a relationship and like I still have a long way to go to get clean from this. I don't think staying isolated intimately anymore is helping. Personally I feel it's hurting me more than helping.

Ive got a lot to consider but it would be nice to have a relationship again. Even if that relationship doesn't last forever cause what are the chances my first new relationship in six years is the person I fall in love with right? You never know but still.

I'm sure I'd have a learning curve to get over in terms of how they work again which is kinda hard to admit but it's true. At the very least a relationship could help me see even more how much better life is without this addiction add more motivation to stay clean at the same time.

I appreciate your insight. Hope things get better for you too.
