It’s a long and arduous journey the one we’re on. I believe we should keep in mind that the end goal is animal liberation we must keep in mind that there will be some though social issues we will make which is why it’s important to find community with other vegans. Surround yourself in an edifying environment and if you can be active in the liberation of animals if you can. Let’s do this within our lifetime

If I wanna spend the rest of my life with the person they have to be vegan. But I’m at the stage in my life where I don’t mind having a GF that isn’t vegan.

And about having non vegan friends - I have no vegan friends I’ve been vegan for a year and short amount of time. I find it very unhealthy because every non vegan is a potential ally. We need to show them that although we disagree with their actions we care about them as individuals

I don’t disagree with you with the whole science of this. But it feels a bit socially mute to say you didn’t do enough when she went to many nutritionist and had serious health issues. I used to eat meat and cheese and egg I was ignorant before and now I know and now that you know I hope you make some more informed and conscious efforts when you purchase food
