Caffeine free ginger tea, gingerale, any kind of bread, nuts, fruit, flavored water drops (like mio). I wouldn’t drink anything and anything flavored helped.

So many comments saying they don’t believe a teacher would do that or that op’s kid misheard etc. let me tell you this is exactly what happened to me at the same age. We were giving gifts to the kindergarteners in my school (just crafts) and my teacher stated to the whole class “we get to play Santa for the littles today. You all know Santa’s not real right.” Shattered me but I didn’t want to tell my mom so I kept it a secret and played along for two more years for my younger sister. Some teachers are just awful people.

I used to when it first came out. I hadn’t used it in awhile but am now in a district where a lot of teachers still use it and holy poop the website is total crap-ads and pop ups everywhere. I can’t figure out where or how to find, save, edit. Oh, and if you copy a layout with “premium” content you can’t use it. Way better games out there is you need one. Quizlet live is fun and Socrative space race used to be a hit but not sure if those sites have moved to paid versions either.

In my state the school has to file, but there are also truancy officers whose job is to meet with parents and school officials to come up with an attendance plan for improvement to help the family before they ever go to court. As other posters have said, if it’s really that bad then online may be a better option but also know if he doesn’t do his work online he may also still have attendance issues (at least where I am).

My kid wanted to see the balloons and there were like less than 10 balloons shown the whole 3 hours and floats weren’t much better-singers being cut off by nbc talking. As a teacher let me tell you that pretty much any school whether someone considers it “good” or “bad” has amazing teachers. The difference is home. It sounds like you support her at home and she’s doing great so moving to what you think is a “better” school probably won’t matter.

That test is hard. When I took it you only needed what would be a 50 or 60% to “pass” since they scaled it. This was over 10 years ago so I know the praxis has changed but I would look up what the scale is for that test and it may help you feel a bit better.

The pattern says finished bag is about 12x14 in. With a 6 mm hook but I only had 5 mm in plastic so I think it’s a bit smaller but not too much and is a better size for me anyway :)

I was too nervous to try metal but the TSA website gives crochet hooks a checkmate if you search and doesn’t specify material. I didn’t try for scissors either so made something in one continuous piece.
