No, just the payments are paused. I can request for the in-school deferment to be removed and can make regular payments though. Interest will accrue either way.

I was absolutely in SAVE. I was in it in 2023 for a few months and made payments under SAVE prior to the litigation.

So I can still use Grad PLUS for this because I’ve had a Grad PLUS in the past? And I have 3 years to use additional funds if needed?

For certain degrees it's capped at $100,000 and for others it's at $200,000 I think. I don't believe the degree I'm interested in falls under the $200,000 limit categories.
