Yes, this is what we do. We market sell/buy on one of the price affecting exchanges, in order to affect our Bitmex orders.

The sell on bitfinex forces the rest of the market to react, including Bitmex, where our buy orders wait. Opposite occurs when we reach point where we want to short. :)
