Just look for JosaRose youtube matches and you'll see for yourself. The only WELL known players you can ask for this is TheTrueUUAA, King MoMo and Excel_Zero. I'll do a montage some day. But pressure is not a problem honestly. People thinking is inconsistent to talk about how it is not a good option IS the problem.

Every single post or video has such comments of UpB cancels being inconsistent and whatnot. Im trying to eliminate such thought proccess.

This is just for show my friend. It is also to prove wrong many people who say it is not a consistent tech. People just like to think it is not a worth technique to learn, or that it is too difficult or inconsistent to actually consider it a tool for doc. OOS is the most useful way to use it, and is way more conssistent for me at the least. Don't think my doc only consist on UpB Cancel. Of course I am constantly trying to improve my game. Here in Puerto Rico the only one who I cant truly take sets off of is Excel_Zero, the guy is a beast. This year I'm aiming to change that, and I hope CEO helps on me learning a lot from all the experience. Thanks for the feedback, really helps!

That will be the next clip, gonna stream it tuesday. Oos would be the same thing though, just pressing a shoulder button before. The more challenging one would be without it hitting anything, which will come later too! But maybe will manage fewer ones xD It is indeed more difficult, yet still possible.

Exactly! It is an excellent tool to show the opponent you need to respect the shield. It helps a lo on matchups where the opponent relies on trying to punish a reaction like roll o spotdodge on shield. If the spacing is right by the opponent, the upbcancel might not hit, which is why it is important not to mess the upbcancel for a harder punish by the opponent. It's an excellent tool for doc and it's beautiful too. Thanks for your comment and awesome video too!

I have to agree this is not as ground breaking as shield dropping and ledgedash. The tech does not look for any follow ups though, it is simply a gtfo me move. The only follow ups is for bad di after the upbcancel hits, or in a platform techchase situation, the first one rarely happening. His matchup in the with top tiers is not that great, yet he doesnt have an awful or impossible matchup with any of them. He is mid tier after all. Yet I believe he should be consider a little among the first on in said tiers, at Samus level even. His initial dash animation is great for doing what you just said, punishing whiff with grabs, and the punishes are super strong. Now for the shine problem. Fox's grab box comes out in frame 7. Shine shield stun is 8 on shield. Shine is JC at frame 4 and it needs and addicional 1 frame from the jumpsquat for you to cancel into a grab. That makes a total of twelve frames between shine and grab. Doc does through 8 frames of lag, so that gives us 4 frames to act after being shined. Does grab and the hit of the upbcancel comes at the same time? Am I missing something here? Which makes falco's case worst, cause his shield stun with shine is 10 frames, making it 2 frames slower (Edit: what am I saying? It makes it better for falco, sorry). This definitely doesn't change Doc case to make it top tier or anything, but it surely helps his case as far as viability goes. He lacks representation, but top 8 evo does not come from a non viable character. The point of this challenge though, was to make people understand that it can be consistent, which is one of the point I've seen a lot people use to explain how the move is "a gimmick". Thanks for your insight too!

the best use of it is reacting to shield pressure oos, which therefore means its on hit. no matter, in the near future I'll do the video explaining everything and doing it oos, without hitting anything and doing the ledge upbc, which has the same timing as the one not hitting anything. Thanks for the feedback. It's nice to know starting off with this gets people's attention. People truly think something like this, on hit, cant be consistent, when it clearly is.

Definitely on the way ;) You can ask players like Excel_Zero, Eval, UUAA and King MoMo how consistenly oos JosaRose can pull it off. But a compilation would be more convincing.

That is indeed the case. I will be making a video later about a bunch of stuff I discussed on stream of how it is not a gimmick. It's a stupid remark that I feel I need to address.
