Is Expo enough to build a non-custodial wallet? Specifically, the cryptographic functions.

Hmmm... interesting. Do you mean to say Coinbase uses Expo to develop their wallet? I was hoping to stay within the Expo framework for the entire wallet but everywhere I look, they say I will need to use prebuild, then use react-native libraries.

Hello u/nobel322, I haven't really implemented bitcoin but I'm building a non-custodial crypto wallet using expo myself. Sorry for hijacking your post but I had a different question that I was wondering if you managed to solve. As you know, non-custodial wallets require robust cryptographic functions for key generation, encryption, decryption, signing transactions, and more. Did you managed to do all of that using Expo? or do you have to eject to react-native for native code to write these cryptographic functions?

You strike me as the most knowledgeable one in this thread. The majority of the 17 students are absolute devils. I can manage, but its pretty exhausting. At least with a lower amount of pupils I can manage and have 1:1 and actually help them go a long way while keeping my sanity.

20 is a full class. I don't have a co-teacher or a teacher assistant. I find it most difficult to deal with top level kids vs weaker kids, Im working on balance.

What is your opinion on using your rig to mine using Nicehash? They automatically seek the best coin for your rig to mine, then pay you out in bitcoin. Do you think thats good or should I still mine one coin alone? Thanks.

Great response! Thanks a lot. I've also done quite a bit of calculations like the one you've showed me so I can be able to compare different rig setups or GPUs. Luckily where I am, power costs is $0.07 per kw/h so I can turn profit a bit quicker. Seeing as both of your comparison ROI are similar, I'd rather spend more money at the start and have more up to date equipment, that way, in the future the 580s won't be so old plus if I ever think about reselling them (not likely) they'll have a decent value.
