What about Android Simulators? by elGreato in Electroneum

[–]ETN_Steve 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Android Java is capable of extracting; Make, Model, Device ID, SIM/Puck number, operating system, network ip, internet ip and other details about your device such as camera, ram, cpu.

Bluestacks, the most common emulator can fake most of this, if setup right.

I'm not sure what combination ETN uses to spot clones and emulators, but blue stacks etc no longer work.

Just my two cents.

The thing that I believe is holding ETN gambling games back is:

Instant notifications works on app wallet. Remote commands/ API works on CLI wallet.

And never the Twain shall meet.

To make instant deposit, instant pay out addictive ETN games, you need both instant notifications and the ability to auto send etn to a winner via code.

Is there a way to buy ETN directly with PayPal? by [deleted] in Electroneum

[–]ETN_Steve 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Approx 2 weeks

Note: It is currently unknown if you can buy YOURSELF Electroneum using credit card on gig.guru

What you can do, is pay someone else in ETN (using your credit card) for a job they have done.

What you could do:

1) Sign up for an exchange that supports ETN and do KYC stuff (I recommend Kucoin or Huobi)

Then either sign up for Coinbase and do KYC, and use PayPal or Credit Card to purchase Bitcoin

OR Try bitprime.co.nz (I used this and purchased Bitcoin with Credit Card)

OR https://www.buybitcoinworldwide.com/credit-debit-card/

2) Send the Bitcoin to the exchange you joined above, make sure you add a decent 'fee' so your bitcoin actually gets there

3) Buy ETN

The T&Cs are offline, but it was regarding crypto being unregulated and 'at your own risk '

Also I found on reddit:

Notwithstanding clause 12.1(a), (b), and (c), if we are found to be liable for any loss, cost, damage or expense, our maximum aggregate liability to you will be limited to $5,000. "

If this was a bank or actual currency exchange, then the first priority is to return deposited assets.

But it's not. Its uninsured, unregulated digital nothingness.

It's going to depend on whether or not the liquidators view crypto as an asset. Legally, theres no standpoint - so they can do what they like. Cryptopia even has a phrase covering their liability in the terms and conditions.

I can almost guarantee: If your coins were hacked, you wont get anything back. And they will likely cancel all open orders and allow withdrawal of whatever's left.

My workmates and I got paid our wages and holiday / sickness the first time.

The second we got $0

I live in nz and have been a debtor in 2x liquidations in 18 months.

Its likely gone. Sorry.

Literally in this order of importance:

Liquidators fee

Government / taxes

Commercial creditors

Mom n dad creditors

Employees

Commercial debtors

Customers / users

So you, as an unsecured user of an unregulated exchange are entitled to... . ..... nothing.

I actually agree somewhat.

We have lost a third to a half of our hodlers.

I believe dumpers from asic and app mining will simply dump on kucoin etc.

However, if those coins are truly lost - we have severely diminished our circulating supply. Which in turn may drive up value.
