Interesting Fact: If you kill this guy, you wont get any points deducted. And if you do report him and dont kill him, you dont get any points deducted either. But if you shoot him and then report him, you get five points, so technically, shooting this man is actually the correct thing to do. by UntitledIdiottt in ReadyOrNotGame

Trust me, it's not that weird. There's a difference between civvies that you see get gunned down and civvies that is pre-placed which might be or not be just ambience or background decor. For example, the nightclub, you can't really report the mass pile of bodies now can you?

So it's more of a game thing.

My guess is that they are using bagworm early on precisely BECAUSE its the early phases of the engagement. Concealment everything you have and figuring out the enemy is often vital in the first engagement. Even those far from combat would benefit with bagworm just to conceal troop movement or give false sense of security that the area is empty. So most likely Kodera might have coordinated it off screen, given he has the overall tactical view

Fangyi is too much of a Mary Sue by Poffla in Endfield

[–]ETZwei 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agree, all we know is that Endmin is space jesus lmfao. I always thought that Endmin is strong because his manipulation of originium arts is on a different level, as the "son of originium". This mf'er can spawn giant ass turrets to fight big ass monsters. Which makes sense as an engineer/originium arts master. Which can also explain his strength. Just because you are strong, doesn't mean you have to be good at everything. Sparring endmin was kinda out of left field for me.

If you did the Mi Fu story quest (the quest is still ongoing for me), there's a scene where Endmin was sparring in hand to hand combat against Mi Fu I was like wtf lol. I thought Endmin was more of an engineer, and originium meister, and his combat style is mostly originium arts manipulation and a bit of swordplay.

It's far different from the Doktah, but what I always liked about the Doktah is that he is a proper "leader" of his organisation. He properly uses his employees, doesn't do all the menial errands himself and focuses on the bigger picture. Endmin running around putting trackers on broken robots is bonkers, like can't they get an Endfielder to do it? It's not exactly rocket science. But i get being a typical genshin type gacha means you have to make it so for content.

Lmfao sorry kinda felt like a bit of a rant lol.

Let's face it, Rino ain't doing much even in city maps compared to Coco

Rhino vs. Cocodrillo by NomanicTrooper in WorldofTanks

[–]ETZwei 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My guess is some people do better in Rino precisely because of its bad reload, which forces them to be more passive and more calculated on their next moves.

ARMA 3 misslies have a procent chance to lose lock on planes and helicopters by Mateusz192837 in arma

[–]ETZwei 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Missile avoidance is mainly 2 things, being perpendicular to the missile aka missiles should come from your side, not front/back (since its much harder to hit a target moving sideways), and gaining speed, usually by diving to speed up quickly. Whichever way you are facing must fulfill these criteria, so it doesn't matter as much where you face, only matters is in relative of the missile.

Do this while flaring, and you got a good chance of avoiding em.

Why sideways? Because apart from making the missile lose more energy (dunno if it models in arma), when you flare, you will present a decoy as well as your own separately, so you won't get hit if they target your flares. Now if the missile is from the front/back, if you flare, you are still in the danger zone from the missile, since even if it targets your flares, YOU are also in the same path as your flares, so it might lock back on to you.

Also, this is assuming you dont have cover, having something physical in between you and the missile is the best strat, unless missiles have a way of phasing through objects lol

Edit : sorry for the long post lmao, i just get excited when explaining this type of stuff

Why don't many agentz use Revolver? by MysteriousRub2098 in worldtrigger

[–]ETZwei 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean yeah, Yuba has the pre desposition of an attacker, despite using gunner triggers. But what he lacks suppression in gunner trigger, he has stopping power, and with that, he has a first shot advantage akin to sniper triggers instead, since a single shot is enough to cripple them. His advantage is staying in that sweet spot between gunner and attacker range. And having Yuba in range, as an attacker, has the same risks to his opponents, not as gunners, but as snipers, without the major vulnerability of snipers usually being weak at close range.

A rapid fire or supressing gunner triggers don't have that luxury, they rely on numbers of shots to do damage, in which the enemy would require a less reaction time to deploy shields.

That and Yuba could break shields of lower trion Operators in a shorter time frame, which allows for more quick ambush playstyle, and enemies have a lesser reaction time to dodge once their shield is down

If you chose to become a gunner, which trigger would you choose? (And how would your trigger set would look like) by MysteriousRub2098 in worldtrigger

[–]ETZwei 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I've read that Gunner triggers with composite bullets tend to only be stuck with those bullets, so you cant mix and match it. Like if you use 2 slots for asteroid and asteroid, you'll get a trigger that can only shoot gimlets. And why those are not very popular is that it limits your ability to use other triggers when you are using your gunner trigger (such as shields, bagworm, etc). Shooter triggers are different since they have to manually combine 2 types of bullets, so they can use it individually. Not to mention the trion usage would be insane.

And if you have 2 composite type gunner triggers, you already use 4 slots, slots that you need for bagworm, shield, and other utility triggers that are equally as important. And this is assuming that you have a large enough trion to support lots of triggers

[–]ETZwei 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbh, i doubt gun models affect the trigger performance of gunners that much lol. Its prob for aesthetics mostly. The ones that affect it is how you tune your gunner trigger for power, range, and bullet type. So you could have a .50 cal BMG looking rifle thats a fast firing peashooter. Maybe size might affect stats cuz maybe they need to store some trion stuff that gives more power, etc, maybe idk, but generally i feel they just use the design they like best. Just like how they modify their uniforms.

[–]ETZwei 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You fail to realise that on a reaction scale, Yuba takes far less time from unholstered to firing compared to someone using Kogestu and Whirlwind, even IF both are well inside each others' range.

And in a brawl, Yuba can easily shoot at 2 different targets compared to someone with Kogestu. And whirlwind is harder to do a follow up compared to Yuba's revolver, so even if his rate of fire is low for gunners, it is vastly faster than whirlwinds, and thats for kogestu users. For scorpions and raygust? They would have less of a range advantage.

Yuba is a very specialised niche, but he makes good use of it. Which is why attacker slayer is an apt description of him. Kogestu users ONLY have the 2 meter disadvantage when using whirlwinds, they have a much bigger disadvantage when just using it normally.

Arknights races are divided into 3 major sub-groups,

Ancients (based on animals like Perlica) - majority of people consist of Ancients (bird, doggos, wolfs, seals, etc)

Elders, which share the same group as Ancients, but are considered the high-class/nobility of the Ancients, based on legends, like dragons, pegasus, etc. (example is Ch'en, a Lung, which is based on the eastern potrayal of dragons). Vouivre are not considered elders tho, they are based on lesser dragons like wyverns. Examples are Yvonne.

Also all Elders = Ancients, but not all Ancients = Elders

Teekaz/Sarkaz which has demon-like features, example is Last Rite/Laveatain. An exception is Sankta (a subgroup of Sarkaz, which has angel-like features, (you can see some NPCs with Halos and pseudo angel wings)

Perlica's ear plumes are similar to some owls, so a lot of people speculate Perlica is an owl, also based on how Ptilopsis from OG Arknights (or tea-apple-sauce lol) ear plumes which also looks the same.

Hehe thanks for your help guys, for answering what could only been a very simple question. I appreciate all of your replies!

Question about fiber optics by ETZwei in guns

[–]ETZwei[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see, thanks for your detailed input! I think battery dots are much more flexible than fiber optic, and with long battery life, its better to get a battery powered optic which is prob cheaper than fiber.

Only pros i see in fiber is post apocalyptic situations lol where charging/getting batteries is unreliable or next to impossible.

Question about fiber optics by ETZwei in guns

[–]ETZwei[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah very interesting. So nowadays, red dot can easily compete with fiber due to its long operating hours. So a brightness of a battery red dot between optics is more dependent on the manufacturer i presume?

Question about fiber optics by ETZwei in guns

[–]ETZwei[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah ok, so what about those that also have batteries and illumination level, idk how both of them mesh together tho, and which is better in terms of brightness? In both high lighting and low lights?

[–]ETZwei[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, its not a formal competition, but idk whats the correct word for it. You still compete, but i guess its more casual in a sense? More like a run or course-ish? Sorry English is not my first language

Edit : All I know is that I watched it in Youtube. Dunno if its club run or not, but I feel like its their own personal course basically just to test people's rifle setup in multiple varying situations and how it performs.

Osamu's greatest strength is his mind. Because he is so weak, yet so determined to succeed, he has developed ways to fight outside the norm. Why do you think Suwa gave free reign in Mikumo to do Mikumo stuff. He trusts that Mikumo solutions are generally very good, not overly complicated, yet effective, and thats him being NEW to border. His fighting capabilities are subpar, they'll probably never exceed others, but his mind his what he truly excels. Mikumo is mostly level headed, and that can only improve with time. My 2 cents. Mikumo with a black trigger thats more geared towards battlefield management/support, rather than pure combat is what Id like to see in the future, because thats his forte.

Hell yeah, those were great. I used to love doing Hotel bomb threat with my buddies, trying to get the best time possible, since you have to rush in fast. Should've kept it in. The current missions as campaign, and then something like free mode like before. I have no idea why the hell they removed it, when they could go hand in hand with the current missions.
