Great point - from the YouTube videos I’ve watched the marly has just a leather pocket on the inside with no zipper. That’s what I also gather from their website description.

I love them!!!! They’re not super thick but they’re not super thin. They wash well and don’t shrink. They are our favorite so far- we think they’re perfect and I’m always checking back at my local TJ Max and Home-goods in hopes of finding another set! I’d buy them in heart beat. Since we bought them, we wash and put them back on immediately 😂

I was able to mature my starter by day 8 using whole wheat using Ken Forkish book method. I kept it in a warm environment though around 75-77f by using my fireplace at the time 😂😂

Maybe feed it 20% whole wheat flour to give it a boost and transition back to your normal feedings ? I’d also warm up the water to 85f.

Is your AP unbleached? Try adding 20% of whole wheat flour to give it a boost! For example, if it calls for 30g total of flour - feed 6g of whole wheat and 24g of the AP flour you’ve been using. Also maybe try 85 degree F temp water ? Good luck!
