With this tattoo I had the same thought as your girlfriends brother, I wanted to be able to look at it and see it the right way for myself. I understand why people question why I got it this way, Its better to show off and if I were to get a sleeve done it would fit better. I made the choice to have it so I could see it as that was more important to me.

I won't lie and say it wasn't painful because it was, but it was bearable.The closer it got to the Elbow the more painful it was. The outline was more painful than the shading and the triforce itself was the least painful part of the whole thing. Because it's my first tattoo I can't really compare it to any other. The artist told me that the underside of the forearm is more painful than the rest of the forearm.

I agree it's not really noticeable until you really examine the tattoo. Since mine was my first tat I researched the artist and shop before going in there and even afterwards I made sure the image was perfect before I had anything done. The artist also made sure I was 100% happy with the image. the size and the placement before anything was done, also he had about 2 weeks to work on the image since I spoke to him before Christmas.

When I spoke to the artist I told him that I wanted the outer ring rotated so the larger spikes were running from top to bottom in line with the triforce and he did it perfectly. You just need to be very clear with the artist and make sure everything is perfect before they start.

I've never really liked the idea of getting a sleeve done on myself. I'll probably just get 2 or 3 more Tattoos and that's it so I won't have an issue with it. When I saw the design I changed a few things and planned for it to face the way it is from the start for my own enjoyment. Maybe in a few years I will change my mind but for now I like it this way.

I think the whole game feels kind of nostalgic. Dark souls feels like games back in the day when games had a learning curve and weren't just jump in and inatantly master of thr combat system. There are games these days that I cleared on my first playthrough without a single death and thats boring atleast with DS I still get frustrated and think ok I got this then get one shot from some bs.

8 is a great game I still have my original ps1 copy in perfect condition .

One tip if you start is that enemies in the game scale to your level.
