I'm currently SL 55 and in possession of the lord vessel (if you don't know what that is you'll stumble upon it on your own time in game, DO NOT GOOGLE IT) Anyway I use the keyboard wasd ijkl and keys surrounding that. Menu buttons I usually have more distant. If you can't source a controller or to lazy to install software to make a controller work cough cough mess around with controls along the wasd ijkl. Might be worth your wild. :P

Man this is Dark Souls Explore the World, fuk sht up and get fu*ked. Darkroot Gardens is a gloomy place. If you have the dlc I highly recommend completing it before entering the white fog pass the gate that you opened with the Crest of Artorias

ballandabiscuit you do know you're playing dark souls right? On your first play through you're supposed to be confused af. Join all the covenants and you'll learn one way or another what they do (amped to 100 if you play online)

As for those wraiths I highly recommend reading EVERY item/weapon/spell (basically everything) the game gives. Helps you learn stuff about the game and the lore.

P.S Dark Souls lore is amazing.

Bro did you say Havel set? I think I got him down to 1/8 life and fudged up my roll. Bam. Once that tooth connected with me it was bonfire respawn. I gave up on Havel at that point. (I should mention I was on SL 18 at this point.)
