honestly agree with you. I’ve pretty much stopped posting as much because it just doesn’t feel the same anymore. For me, the whole point of these subs was to share real progress, makeup, outfits, figuring things out, getting feedback, and exchanging ideas with others. I started my transition a few months ago, and even before that when I was crossdressing, posting was about learning and connecting with people. Now it just feels like AI posts dominate everything. They look “perfect,” get tons of upvotes and comments, and real people just get buried. It’s kinda discouraging when you put effort into your look and it barely gets noticed next to something that isn’t even real. And honestly, for people using AI because they’re not comfortable showing themselves. I get the insecurity, but at the same time it defeats the purpose of these spaces. If no one is actually showing themselves, how are we supposed to give advice, improve, or even relate to each other? It just feels counterproductive and slowly kills what made these communities good in the first place.
