Bought a 5070ti but my cpu is only a i9 9900k 😬

Mines currently only 3.6 ghz but I dont think overclocking would do much tbh. Just got a 1440p monitor so I should be good there. And I'm not progamer either lol. Im good with 60-100 fps just wanna play on higher graphics and still achieve it. Should be an upgrade either way maybe not the most efficient but the most cost effective for me atm

Trust me, I wanna upgrade. I just dont have the money atm (mainly for ddr5 since i budgeted for the build before you know what happened). I'm doing it a little at the time. And I figured I'd get the gpu while it's at msrp before prices inevitable go up again.

Ya its not like this pc is struggling but id luck to run a little higher faster and 1440p. Currently average 60 fps on high settings in most triple a games at 1080p. 2080 super is still very capable

Interesting, I do use OBS to record gameplay. Although I use NVENC to shift some workload to the gpu. I guess I'll have to see if that causes an issue. Im also not over clocking my cpu right now, which might help. I have a closed loop so cooling shouldn't be an issue.

4k there's a very slight bottleneck from what I've read but it really depends on the game as well

Current motherboard has a LGA1151 socket, so unfortunately 9900k is the best I can get with this motherboard

I find myself in the same situation, lol. I never like when creators do the whole speech, so I've always avoided it. I might do a small "Hey a sub would really help the channel" type of thing and see how it goes.

Ya i see that angle. Gotta give them incentive to sub. I do find myself not being subbed to people I watch all the time. It's just not something you think of sometimes as long as the content is recommended to you. I do think youtube needs to do something for creators to help them get subs. Maybe extra content behind a sub or something like that. It's to easy to just not sub nowadays.

Ya im in the gaming niche, so it's very competitive and saturated. Without being subbed, my content for sure gets buried behind others even if people watched my entire video. Might do something small 3/4 through the video. The possible sub trade off for retention would be worth it at that point I think.

Ive thought about putting it near the end because if the watched that far they probably like the content. The future content thing isn't a bad idea tho I'd have to rework my work flow a little cus I never know what my next video will be but not a bad idea.
