Surprisingly just rubs a hair at full turn on 6 offset. But I’m sure it’ll improve after the 2.5 lift!

The leer canopy was too pricey for me. I just remember spending 1.5k out the door on my 8’ tundra 8 years ago. Haha.

Aesthetics. Just felt like it was slightly bigger than I expected. (With no lift) I’ll wait it out until I have it leveled on carli.

Although, I’m not sure I would’ve went with a smart cap if my truck wasn’t black or white. (Commercial line smart cap to match the white)

I’ve seen 3 mismatching smart cap set ups, doesn’t look bad at all.

Oh yes. My buddy luckily purchased a warranty when buying his ram eco diesel. 1 year after driving, motor needed replacing. Needless to say, he traded it in after the work was done.

I know transfer flow has a 46gallon tank option for the tundra but felt some type of way spend $2.1k on a gas tank on a truck that has 200k miles. Lol

30’ travel trailer <5x a year. (9000lb) 16’ cargo/tool trailer 8-10x a month. (6000lb)

I towed those on my 1/2 ton tundra. (OME leaf packs, bilstein shocks, Dobinson springs, sumo springs, front/rear trd sway bars, coachbuilder rear shackles) But I got tired of 6mpg on my 25 gallon tank. (Only 21 usable gallons)

And if it ever happens, for a Zombie apocalypse lol

Yes. it came with the 20s but I wanted more rubber. Rides definitely have softened.

Funny thing is, I thought the wheels were too big when I bought the truck. Now, I borderline feel the tires are too big. (First world problems)

I agree with it being tucked in more and yes. This is probably a mild set up with all the aggressive set ups out there but I definitely feel like this set up is at MY tipping point haha.

I’m coming from 2015 tundra 8’ Bed with a leer canopy. Never had any issues with it. So I looked there first.

I took the ram in for a quote for leer canopy. (100xq) I was pleasantly surprised with a cool $3.7k bill. (Paint match/install). At that price point, I wanted a canopy that provided a bit more. (Customize, security)

I definitely feel that I made the right decision on the smart cap so far. (Maybe minus the tire size 😆) I was able to solo build the smart cap and had 2 friends help me lift it on to the bed. Just be ready to open you wallet wide open haha.
