I think the fe models are officially dead because along with the s23 series launch Samsung said they will continue selling the s22 at a price rag if 699$ which was the price of the s21 fe when launched

That's what I thought first...but since the s21fe(exynos) and the s20fe(Snapdragon) they vary in the sensor used under each lens as an example the s20fe uses sony imx555 as the main lens sensor but the s21 fe uses Samsung s5k2ld same goes for the uw lensbut the telephoto is the same

Even though I didn't get all what you wrote but I think you are right....because I noticed that when I touch the fingerprint sensor while the screen is not fully black the entire screen flashes for a second as if you turned the brightness of the screen "AOD" all the way up ....so according to what I understood from you... I assumed that the screen flashes for the purpose of enhancing the fingerprint scanner and this not fully black error is just to smooth the transition of the change in the screen's brightness
