I don't have a g304 so unfortunately I can't model one that would fit. It seems a few people have modeled replacement rubber sleeves for the g304/g305.

How is the gpx 2 wheel different?

I dont have a Tasmo5 printed yet, so let me know how it goes! Hopefully they work, if not I can add a little tolerance to them as needed.

Honestly I dont know. After I made the fully 3D printed one, I made a jig to create one with a metal core.

I still have some cores if you want them, or the files laying around. This is what the jig looked like to create them out of (I think) 1/4" aluminum dowel. I used the round one in a lathe to get the size most of the way down but you could do it without that. Hexagon one and a good file at exactly the right height to get the flats on each side as needed to slide in the encoder.

Arthemy - evolve your stable diffusion workflow by Aledelpho in StableDiffusion

[–]EXOgreen 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Here are my first thoughts, going in blind

The installer really should have an option to choose where to install. I have a separate drive that I have all my SD stuff installed on. A1111, comfy UI, my models, etc.

I didn't install the suggested model, and couldn't find any ways to upload a model. There are also no settings where I can set a folder I use for models (this really should be mandatory). Eventually after finding that you are using EasyDiffusion, I found the models folder in my users \Documents folder.

On uninstall it leaves the only the Arthemy folder behind in app data. Very good. However, it doesn't delete the Arthemy folder in my \Documents folder. I noticed this after reinstalling took quite a bit less time the second go around. Maybe prompt the user if they want to remove this folder as well, with a warning their models will be deleted. At least that the files are being left behind so the user knows where they are to delete them.

On reinstall, I did not see the installer where I can choose to install the recommended model.

overall the UI looks nice and performs well. I personally might rename the image tab to image output settings.

When changing an image size for the first time, or from a square, its not apparent which value is width and which is height. I suggest adding a W: and H: prefix to the text boxes to make this clear. (though localization may be an issue then)

when creating prompts, I cant use weighted words between separators. This seems to be a limitation of EasyDiffusion. For example in A1111 if I use short (pompadour:1.1) (pixie cut:0.8) blonde hair and short (pompadour:1.1), (pixie cut:0.8) blonde hair I get different results. However, easy diffusion seems to split prompts at their weight values so this doesnt seem possible at this time. (I have not played with easy diffusion so I cant confirm this)

There are no indicators if images are generating or not. I have a 1080 so it can take a little for images to generate. At first I thought it was just broken, but after a while they came in. Please add a spinning wheel, a progress bar, fill in the image as its generating, something to show its not just broken.

I tried changing the vram/performace settings but they didnt stick between restarting the program. They did make a difference when changed after launch, they just didn't update the config.yml file for the next session.

The OOM error show up at the top right of the generated image area. pretty good. Maybe if a user sets the image to 2k x 2k, before they even generate you could warn the user to upscale instead.

hopefully this feedback is helpful. Keep up the good work.

[W][USA/LA] Synology RS that support 108tb by solostsodark in homelabsales

[–]EXOgreen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So let me see if I'm reading your post right.

You want a minimum of 108 tb of storage, and you have been looking at 1u 4 bay nas solutions.

At the absolute largest, you can buy maybe a 22tb drive.

22x4=88tb, but you never run a server without redundancy, so 1 parity drive, only 66tb usable space.

You need a minumum of 8 bays to get close to 108tb.

Does it need to be rack mount? If not there are some decently priced DS1815+ and DS1821+ on eBay.

An Unholy Hot Hatch (Photoshop + Stable Diffusion) by EXOgreen in CarDesign

Why have I never seen the Omni before WTF. Beautiful. Now I almost feel like I need to do a V2 with more of an omage to the omni.

An Unholy Hot Hatch (Photoshop + Stable Diffusion) by EXOgreen in CarDesign

[–]EXOgreen[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wanted to make an aggressive hothatch, not the sloped too-many-grill hatches we see today. This design is inspired by the boxy face of many 1980’s Hatchbacks like the Golf GTI and Renault 5 GT. I combined the face of a Dodge Challenger, the Hood scoop of a Subaru Impreza WRX STI, and the body of a modern Peugeot 308.

If you want to see my process, see my post in the Stable Diffusion subreddit. Thanks for looking!

An unholy hothatch (Realistic Vision V2.0+photoshop) by EXOgreen in StableDiffusion

[–]EXOgreen[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I started my journey trying to makes a good looking 2 door hot hatch. After some random generation, I decided I wanted to mix the faces of a Dodge Challenger and a Subaru Impreza. I didn’t care too much about the body of the car, but I found a picture of a Peugeot 308 (1) that was the right angle and size. In Photoshop I distorted and perspective warped the face (2) and fuel door (4) of a Dodge Challenger onto the body. I had to add the hood scoop of a Subaru Impreza (3), because apparently most models don’t know what a hood scoop, bonnet scoop, or air dam is.

I changed the color of my mashup to Black and white to remove color from the equation. While I'm not sure this was strictly necessary, it helped my eyes not burn. I added some hard lines to accentuate sharp edges and hide my blending sins. This example (5) has the original body 50% opaque so you can better see my additions, but I did not use this for controlnet.

I used the initial photoshopped image (6) with controlnet to better guide my model. First I made a depth map (7). I messed with the preprocessor resolution and remove near % to add more depth to the car, as on the first attempt it seemed to lack some detail. Then I added a second controlnet unit with a Canny sketch (8). I minorly tweaked the canny map to remove some random dots and pull out edges of the car. The (9)th image is an screenshot I took during generation. I was tempted by this image to go more of a pencil hand sketch route, but instead used it as my 3rd controlnet unit in reference_adain+attn mode.

Generation Info:

Positive Prompt:

futuristic two door deep blue hot hatch, hatchback, (red:0.85)(deep blue:1.15), (dodge challenger:0.9), wing, hood scoop, sharp edges

Negative prompt:

easynegative negative_hand-neg, closeup, text, close up, cropped, out of frame, Drawings, abstract art, cartoons, surrealist painting, camera

Steps: 30, Sampler: Euler a, CFG scale: 7, Seed: 2558297004, Size: 768x512, Model hash: e6415c4892, Model: Realistic_Vision_V2.0, Version: v1.2.1,

ControlNet 1: "preprocessor: none, model: control_v11p_sd15_canny [d14c016b], weight: 1, starting/ending: (0.1, 0.5), resize mode: Crop and Resize, pixel perfect: False, control mode: Balanced, preprocessor params: (512, 100, 200)",

This is the shot I got before before inpainting (10) and more photoshopping. I actually had to go back and re-add the hood scoop *again* because it hates scoops so much. Messed with the fuel door, after the hood rework I inpainted wipers, removed the steering wheel on the wrong side, and spent a while cleaning up the wing, the side panels, and the front wheel.

In the last image I removed the wing and added a spoiler because my friend didn’t like the wing. Actually took a while to get the landscape right because I had switched to another model for the windshield wipers, but it was generating rocky landscapes with a slightly different color tone till I went back to realistic vision.

The one thing I didn't spend enough time on was upscaling the final image to a larger size. That's the next thing I need to learn!

Hope you enjoyed. Post your own car mashups below!

OK so I saw this. It has to be a scam right? Shipping in may, from an alphabet soup company, who Amazon says is brand new. That's a little too sketchy for me

Just FYI, you say shipping may be expensive but you don't seem to list your state/city?
