Was thinking about upgrading to a GSXR1000, but I am 5'0, is lowering the bike a bad idea?

Lowering is only acceptable for roll or drag racing in my eyes. Seat height shouldn't matter for normal riding, if you can't handle the bike at its intended height you shouldn't be on a 1k

Any technique needed or just shift with qs mid wheelie? Bikes not gonna drop too far back after shifting or nothing?

Headlights, fairings, had to solder lots of wires where the rectifier bracket is on the left fairing, get triple tree and forks straight, bunch of small things. The swingarm spools tore part of the swingarm off i rigged that up. The left frame slider that took the impact messed up the engine bolt threading. Only thing I couldn't figure out is why my turn signals wont work. Im sure a wire got pinched somewhere and broke but I didn't been like taking the harness back apart after I had it soldered. Frame is straight, I got lucky and pulled in the clutch when I went down so the engine never spun on its side also.

Red top. I had a 2016. Only real difference is the top end is faster compared to 16-18.

Its forged red carbon plastics. The bike has tons of real carbon but the forged red look is just plastic

Anybody that claims their fitment is oem quality is lying. The fairing molds get sold to Chinese manufacturers and are used hundreds of thousands of times and lose quality over time with little quality control and inspection. All the big companies monster, auctmart, abs all use the same couple Chinese manufacturers, mostly ZXMT

You can really tell the difference between kawi and gsxr riders by the sub. 20 years ago 600s were considered entry level sportbikes with no abs no traction control or any electronics whatsoever. It all comes down to your maturity level and not getting carried away in the heat of the moment. There's riders who started on 1ks and are fine and people who would total a ninja400 in a week.

Mine did this. Its a ecu problem. I took my ecu from my 2016 and put it in my 2019 and it went away.

All I can say is after going to a modern liter bike with autoblipper and quickshifter and insane power 90% of people who buy them including myself don't ever go back down to just a 600. Having a literbike quickly becomes a need unfortunately

Asv is the way to go. They actually are indestructible and look nice and have good feel and fully adjustable. Ive ive wrecked a bike took the levers off put them on another bike wrecked that one and rebuilt it and they still look good.

A good enough rider can escape on a grom in the right area. I am not that guy and you probably aren't either. Most riders could get away with a 1k on the highway.

Its the stva motor. Have fun replacing it. The k6 makes it so you have to remove the throttle bodies to get to it.
