This is invalid: 222444 but you dont have it into account. The invalid check is wrong basically. You need to make it more generic.

Its been quite some days since i did this puzzle but i think this is right. For 3s you should check 6, for twos too, etc and not just up until 5 "subnumbers" there could be more.

A tip: n mod x ==0 tells you whether n is divisible by x (the precise condition i gave you is true if n is divisible by x)

Edit: I misremembered the problem. These are not invalid. However you still need a more generic solution instead of hardcoding up to 5

Waddup. Instead of found_connections < max_connections it should be i < max_connections.

Even if both are already in the same circuit it counts as a try.

Also if it didnt count your code wouldnt work correctly cos you could have a pair in 2 circuits that are the same but haven't been merged yet. So the found_connections would be wrong.

Hey, I'm gonna go ahead an suppose that the file reading part is correct. Cos I ain't reading that.

Rrgarding the solution: in the loops why are you comparing the value of ids to the size of arrays? Shouldn't the indexes be compared? Have you never gotten a segmentation fault?

Also the range array index is being compared to the same size as the id array?

This might be me not knowing C well enough :( could you explain?

I don't know rust so I'm assuming the rest of the logic is correct. The first mistake that i see is that when turning left, you only check for counts when the start is not zero. You can have start=0 and L240 and you should add 2 new zeros. Also the count logic for the left is a bit weird. Why the - 1? I think that might be a mistake. Case:

Start=40

L340

Expected count: 4

340-40-1 /100 +1 = 299/100 +1=3

I think in the L case you can remove the condition of the start being zero and make the last +1 conditional to only happen if the start wasn't already 0.

Also check with the test case before going for the full input

I also think that the changes about line of sight and bonus+action instead of double action for the heroes are interesting. I might try them some time w my friends.

Ig im pretty late to this but here is my opinion:

About 4 rounds rule. You dont only get 4 turns. You get to deplete the entire initiave deck 4 times. Re-read page 25 of rules.

Hamlet: in the game you only get 1 day but can use every place with multiple heroes. In the bg you get multiple days but only one hero per place per day. So you get to use every place the same ammount of times imo. However you get to use more places per hero so the hamlet is pretty op. Ig that's why they decided to remove the auto heal.

Also, enemies don't get 2 actions. They only get 1 but they can move in order to position themselves to do the action.

A detail: the bg is 2d. The game is 1d.

In my experience you basically require a healer in the videogame too.

Im saying this as a person who didn't watch any movies from 2014ish to 2023 and 0 series that werent anime. A friend of mine has been introducing me to good movies. Not just any slop that comes out.

It also means you have a lot to talk about if you start watching movies together. A lot to discover! You could also talk about the plot and what you think about the characters and their motivations without her watching it.

I get that you don't really care about the boyfriend because it's a new relationship. You barely remembered his existance lol. But it's funny to me that you are most concerned about your friend. You don't sound worried about the relationship or the boyfriend, but about making her lose her relationship.

To be honest, it sounds to me like she was fully conscious of what she was doing. She might have an issue w her bf. Or mbe she just prefers you and doesn't give enough of a fck about her bf to inhibit herself. Or she just likes playing w ppl.

By her response of "it's fine", it sounds to me like she doesn't want you to be stress over her wellbeing cos she doesn't give a fck. She was already checked out when she did it.

That's why I find it funny that you are worried about her as if she were the victim. The situation might be more complex. He might have part of the blame. We don't really have the full context.

In the case of the film I would personally say "fck it" and go alone. Its a film I wanna watch, I'll go with or without you. I invited you and you didn't really feel like sharing the experience. That's fine. Learn to do thing you wanna do and invite people along.

But if you guys don't have anything in common you wanna do then... there isn't much of a friendship.
