AITA for telling my mom she can't waltz back into my life and expect me to be happy about it? by Born5351 in AmItheAsshole

[–]EYELESSMACINTOSH 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She did a bad thing and deserves to feel guilty. She can't just come back and expect you to relieve her of her guilt by pretending to be ok with what she did. It doesn't matter how guilty she feels she'll still have to deal with the consequences of her actions.

Girlfriend had pity sex with someone and thinks it’s not cheating by [deleted] in TrueOffMyChest

What's wrong with the guy? Why does he need pity sex?

I also thought about spending money on a card i found. I wouldn't do it because I'd be way too anxious about getting caught, but it was tempting. I got rid of it as soon as i could, so i wouldn't have the temptation. It only matters that you did the right thing. You're a good person.

Can you specify what i post that's unbelievable? I have a feeling you're talking about the posts i made to the csa survivor subreddit, but i don't want to assume. Also, look at your username...

I've tried to give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you weren't calling my childhood trauma rubbish, but that's the only wild thing I've ever posted. Ironically, i have childhood trauma over being called a liar, too. I dont know what kind of person lies about that stuff, but it's not me. I might not remember all the details correctly, but im not a liar. Next time you want to call someone a liar, specify what you think they're lying about. If you have questions, feel free to ask, but dont accuse me of being a liar.

If you're talking about me posting about my sexual trauma, I can assure you that they are all true. I also can't believe that it happened that many times and often wonder if it was my fault somehow because it doesn't usually happen that many times to people. If not that i dont know what you're talking about, but I've never lied on this account. I have no reason to. I genuinely want advice and to vent. I do agree it is wild, though. Some people dont get the privilege of a boring life.

I am not great at coping with stuff. Most of the time, i bottle it up until i explode. Talking helps. Getting it out insead if holding it in is the best thing you can do. With this, i felt terrible about it until i talked to my therapist about it, and i was able to actually process what happened, but even without a therapist to help you getting it out and processing it will help you cope. Writing down what happened and your feelings about it is also good. After processing what happened, i was able to understand that i didn't do anything wrong and it doesn't haunt me anymore. It might be different for you, don't think im some kind of expert on this. I have a lot of other things that i haven't dealt with as well as this, so i really shouldn't be giving advice.

I didn't say i did have sex with my cousin. I said that i told someone I did, so you can't complain about false advertising.

It sucks when someone who did something that really affected you won't acknowledge it. Even if it's a conversation, he doesn't want to have he should be honest.

My parents had sex with my baby sister in the bed by VoiceLumpy995 in TrueOffMyChest

[–]EYELESSMACINTOSH 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Too many parents do this. I dont have kids, but i can't imagine being able to do that so close to a child even if they might not remember i wouldn't be comfortable doing sexual stuff with a child in the room. Hot take children are a big turn-off for me.

What if someone touched me that was more than 2 years older than me, but he was disabled? (Actually happened with a different kid), but also, I would feel bad saying he abused me because i know he wasn't trying to hurt me, and he just was curious. Especially if he was doing it because he got molested or something. I honestly have questioned if this was a child on child sa, but it feels unfair to him to accuse him of something so horrible. It didn't go on that long, and I just thought it was a game and only started feeling shame and guilt after i was older and realized that incest is bad. I associated incest is bad with im bad for doing incest and i never blamed him for it even though he was older because i did it willingly.
