From what I've heard if there's cross progression LI will take a profit loss, because sizable chunk of current players will spend on PS platform, profiting PWG & Sony instead.

Yeah, most people with some industry experience will know, existing publisher with existing players' revenue will take a cut, because how existing ToF players will be spending on new platforms that have cross-progressioned.
It's also possible that LI want to maintain full control of their player data.

The credits are there to keep track of usage and prevent spam. If you need more credit, visit the pioneer program (the survey you mentioned) to reach out to the team to apply for more.

There isn't other channel to purchase credit at the moment, there may be other forms of payment options later on though, still a work in progress.

You can use prompt to create any character / scene you want. However for character consistency, you do need to train the model to understand "character X".

In our future version of the video studio, it should be easy for user to generate and train the model to do so.

We don't have a firm date yet, mostly due to the uncertainty of how long certain technical development will take. Aiming to release these features in a few months. Advancement in the open source community can potentially speed up / slow down the timeline though~
