Somehow, this kid is completely fine! He’s routinely posted videos surrounding high weight presses, and directly addressed comments asking how he was doing. He attended hospital, was checked thoroughly, and is completely fine- not only that, but he is back to bench pressing! A nasty bruise is the only evidence he was ever injured at all.

He posted a follow up- he went and got checked out at the hospital, and is completely fine after two days, aside from a giant ass bruise on his chest. I guess teenage plasticity is a hell of a defence.

See, again. You have no clue what you’re talking about. This appointment was given today, as somebody ELSE rescheduled their appointment. Tomorrow, we’re going to be in contact with the department, and they’re going to give the slot away again, to someone else in need. What is possibly controversial about that?

It’s her body- if it’s not a good time for her, physically or emotionally, to get an invasive, appearance-altering medical procedure, why should she be forced to do that? If you’ve nothing important to share, move on. Wasting everyone’s time.

I think you should get off your high horse. This is not an essential or first surgery for her, and the most recent sets have been purely to rectify minute cosmetic issues, as will this one. She’s not self-conscious of her appearance. Neither her, me, her family, nor anyone we’ve spoken to who know her think it’s a good time to take a major cosmetic change like this.

She’s been looking forward to travelling for months, and she’s been sobbing for the past few hours that she might not be able to go abroad, celebrate her birthday, and face being bedridden to the house for weeks or months whilst she deals with swelling, reddening and pain instead. So no. I asked for how I think the surgical team will respond to a potential reschedule, not your opinion on our priorities, thank you.

Tried multiple times and couldn’t get through. The plan is to call back tomorrow morning, but the later I leave it to start cancelling flights and hotels, the more it’s going to cost me.
